I concur that it was available, but good luck getting a "TRUE 20%" discount. I tried that with multiple dealers, and the best I got, once you compare prices was 9%. Local/family-owned dealers are rare in my area, and big franchises are destroying the market.

Have you been able to try any of the tractors listed!? I would consider the CK2610 if you are looking for a good jack of all trades in a budget or the Branson 2515 if you care more for bare weight and mass. The Kioti is more refined, but the Branson has more weight and mass.

That Kubota is a fantastic machine, pre-emission if I'm correct, too bad it didn't fulfill your needs. Make sure you are giving enough RPMs to your Deere. That one has PDF and it likes to be run at high RPMs. Congratulations, and enjoy the new machine.

For my first tractor I drove close to 7 hours each way. On my second, and so far, last, I took a 2 hour flight.

The Ocala dealer, nice guy by the way, lead time was 8 months or more, and pricing was considerably more, but what killed the deal for me was the lead time. My current projects are land maintenance / clearing. A 400 meters driveway and multiple upcoming agricultural and construction projects.

I already started with a a French Drainage. Other uses are trenches, digging for multiple septic systems. Serves as a mini grapple, I also used to clear the pond shore.

You can mow any piece of land with any size you want. A recommendation, is just that, a recommendation. A ZTR is not that expensive, until you go commercial of course, and is the right equipment for the job. At the end of the day is the OP decision.

You can gent WR Long 3rd function kit, that's what I got and it works great. I recommend Everything Attachments grapple, they have multiple models in their website.

There is another little thing to keep in mind with that particular model (L2501DT). The pto is a live pto with no mid engagement clutch. Not as convenient as an independent pto for doing mowing work.

How about a small compact!? For example: Kubota B2601, Deere 2025r, LS MT225S, Massey 1526, Kioti cx2510, Branson 2610H, Mahindra Max, etc They are more capable than a sub-compact, but agile enough to be close to the house and able to maneuver.

I would recommend you keep the 1025R and get whatever machine you need for the rest of the work once you acquire the land. There are allot of precise / small tasks you can do with a subcompact tractor
