Is This My PTO Solenoid? Framtrac 360DTC

My PTO suddenly stopped turning. The switch illuminates the icon in the dash, and the fuse is good. Fluid level is fine. So next is checking the solenoid. Is the black thing on the silver box my solenoid?

    Backhoe Bucket Pins

Pardon my ignorance, but are bucket pins fairly “universal”? As you can see, I bent the ears on my bucket and then lost one of the pins on my Bush Hog 762H backhoe (long obsolete). If I get a length from the other pin, or bring the other pin in to my tractor place, will they be able to order...

FEL Control Lever Rubber Boot Source

The rubber boot on the controls for my Long/Landtrac 360DTC FEL ripped. Finding the specific part for Landtracs is tough. Anyone know a place I can order a new generic boot by dimension, for example? The base of mine is say, 3"x5" and 7" tall. I've scrolled through hundreds of Amazon listings...

Anyone Found a Heavier-Duty Throttle Return Spring?

A stick mangled the throttle return spring on my Landtrac 360DTC. Parts for this machine are a bit tough to track down, so I've tried two different Dorman throttle return springs from the auto parts store, and neither has been 'strong" enough: the throttle sometimes gets stuck. Anyone found a...

Any Other Suggestions Before I Get the Saw-Zall?

Got a nice new seat to replace the manky old one on my Long 360DTC. Removed the two front 10mm nuts, but the seat doesn't want to slide to allow me access to the rear nuts. I'm sure the slides are just jammed up with two decades worth of gunk (I haven't moved it in the five years I've had it)...

    Did I Sieze the Clutch?

Trying to clear some brush with the bucket after a rain, and ended up stuck a bit down a small hill in my Framtrac 360DTC 4WD. Took 30-40 minutes to work a path through the brush and was just about to crest the hill, when suddenly the clutch went stiff. Could barely move the pedal. No gears...

    Tire Size Questions

Hey guys, I understand auto tire sizes no problem. But tractor tire sizes are new to me. I have a Farmtrac 360DTC and need new front tires. The tires on it currently are 25x10.50-15. However, I'm having trouble finding this size. Three local shops said they don't carry them, and the best I could...

Tractor Won't Stay Running Post Diesel Algae Bloom

Hey guys, I've got a Long/FarmTrac DTC360 w/ a 4-cyl Mitsubishi diesel. Last year, I had a real bad diesel algae bloom from some crappy fuel. I treated with biocide, flushed twice, treated with biocide again, and changed the fuel filter twice. Now, it doesn't seem to want to stay running. If...

Backhoe  Modern Equivalent of Bushhog 762H / JD #7 Backhoe?

I have a Bushhog 762H 3-pt backhoe mounted on my Long DTC360. This is apparently just a re-branded Deere JD #7. I currently have the 14" bucket on it. I need to do some trenching and the 14" bucket is far too wide, so I'd like to replace it with something narrower. I'm looking at the BXpanded...

Long DTC 360 Won't Stay Running

I have a 2004 Long Agribusiness 360DTC with the 39HP 4-cyl Mitsubishi diesel engine. I bought it about three years ago and it has run flawlessly the entire time I've had it. Today while running it, the revs suddenly dropped, and it started sputtering. After about a minute of this, it died. I...

Bush Hog 762H Backhoe Fluid Drain?

Not sure if anyone is familiar with this backhoe. I'd like to change the fluid/filter, but can't seem to find a drain plug. None of the hoses seem to attach to a low enough point in the reservoir to drain it fully. Am I going to have to use a fluid pump, or does someone know of a secret drain...

Bucket Arms For Front Loader Broke - Weld? Replace? Scrap?

As you can see, the bucket arms broke on my Long 5140 front loader. Same spot both sides. What's my next move? See if someone can weld them? Replace them completely? Scrap the whole thing (hydraulics work fine)?
