    Garage addition

The reason a new tank was installed is because the old one lies within the boundaries of where the addition will sit. This is going to be a rather long project. Had to wait for my help to recuperate and now rain and cold are going to be against us. This picture is of a stepped footer. I have...

Just received some 914A mmm gearbox parts which the dealer had to order in. They added freight from the warehouse to them, freight from them to me and added a handling charge to the order total. Now all of this was on top of full list price. Needless to say, I am less than thrilled. And yes, I...

    Drilling a well?

I need to replace a hand-dug shallow well with something a little deeper (30-50 feet) to irrigate a wildlife garden. Short of getting all the permits and calling out a drilling company, any ideas? I considered extension rods for my PHD, but am concerned with the torque effects.

I think this was asked before, but I can't find it. What is the "normal" or correct way to stance a TLB when using the hoe? I've always assumed right was whatever was comfortable for contour, etc. Yet, a buddy swears you have to "jack it as high as the hydraulics will go". Is that an old way...

Can one (or more) of the computer whizzes explain what xml formatting is? The way it was explained to me makes it sound like your embedded objects become floating objects but with LESS coding in the overall program. And it allows for better (easier / faster) sql's? Is this correct?
