I made mine using concrete with attachments to carry my chainsaws and other tools. It was sized to weigh 1600 lbs.

Well, that would make them “double stolen”, because I came up with that design after reading a bunch of ballast block builds on this fine forum. I did a thread on the build called “3pt Concrete ballast build for logging/ firewood” in the Build it Yourself section. Good luck with your project.

That pic shows it in the” I need a big vice in the back corner of the barn mode”. For wood cutting, I spin the mount 180 in the top receiver hitch. Or one can go in any of the 3 receivers on the back side of the block.

It’s not the seat safety switch. That wiring runs on the top side of the fuel tank. But it looks identical to my 2001 TC45D which came like that when it was new.

I used the factory NH unit on my TC45D with 16LA loader. It was $600 in 2006. It was one of the best mods I’ve made to that tractor.

I had a similar situation although I did not have the 30’ elevation change between the pond and garden. I used a 3” 1/3hp 120v submersible pump that I put in a 4” pvc casing that was placed in a 10’ deep hole that was dug next to the garden.

I could not even estimate as it was just a fun project that got worked on when I felt like it with no particular schedule on getting it done. I did let the concrete sit for two months to allow it to cure. The metal work was completed over the course of a couple weeks.

The vise mounts on the vertical tube of the 3pt using a receiver fixture that replaces the cap. The HF tire changer has a section of 2” tubing welded to it and gets plugged in the receiver hitch on the backside of the ballast. It’s held tight by the pinch bolt on the receiver.

Here’s where I stick welded 1/2” plate (drilled beforehand) to the 3pt frame so It can be pin on the tractor. I also painted it up using some ancient (20+ year old) 2 part epoxy paint. I was surprised that paint still worked but it did take forever to dry.

The bolts were all cut off using a wafer disc on a angle grinder. Then I used a masonry grinding disc on an angle grinder to clean up the concrete.

Here it is after forms were removed. The latex paint worked pretty good but I did get some concrete sticking in a few areas. The receiver has a welded 1” steel rod attaching it to the 3pt metal work.

My NH Workmaster 37 has it in a similar location on the other side. It’s tucked in tight and has caused no problems.

I just went through this and ended up putting a Bare Co pto shield on my Bush ATH720 finish mower. It comes with numerous bearings to fit different sizes of pto shafts. Good product, I would purchase it again. Available on Amazon for a price cheaper than a entire new unit.

That indicator light is on the far bottom left side of the instrument panel and it’s not very visible when lit during daylight.

Look to see if the shutdown lamp is light. The 30 second run time could be a sign your tractor ECU is in shutdown mode due to a failed sensor or a soot overloaded DPF. See attached pic from the manual

I have a 925gbh backhoe on my Workmaster 37. It picks up the rear end of the tractor with no problems. I would suggest you check the hydraulic hose connections of your backhoe. Disconnect each one and reseat them firmly.

I put my Workmaster’s tool box on the right side. It required moving the lights up higher on the ROP’s (all bolt on with mods to the light brackets). The existing cables on the lights were long enough without modification.

A good friend and I both bought new TC45D’s in early 2001. Both of them failed like that before we hit 50hrs. The dealer said it was a factory defect and it was repaired under warranty.
