Blown Hose on Jinma YW-6 Hoe

Had the boom lift hose blow today. The hose came out of the fitting at the cylinder. After checking it out it was only inserted about 2/3 of the way in the fitting when it was crimped. It was about 100* today and the hoe was acting a little lazy like the hyd oil was thin which I'm sure helped...

Mowing  PTO Range when using Finish Mower

I've been running my 3510 PTO in 1000 rpm range while doing light finish mowing with tractor rpm about 1400. Am I asking for problems? I use 540 range with bushhog because it puts way more strain on the tractor. Someone told me 1000 range was for generators and other light load items.

    Tubeless Tire Trick

Well the season is coming and you have one or more tires that won't hold air. I take liquid dish soap and mix it about 50-50 with water and paint it on the bead of the tire with the tire broke loose from the rim. If the rim is clean and the tire isn't split this will work most of the time. I've...

Backhoe  Tractor RPM when using Backhoe?

I have a Branson 3510. I got a deal on a new Jinma YW-6. I modified the subframe and plumbed it into the tractor hydraulics at power beound fittings. The hoe works great with the tractor RPM at about 1400 and running 2200psi relief pressure. I'm just wondering what others are setting RPM at with...

3 PT Pallet Forks the easy way!

I have 2 old pallet jacks. One has a bad jack, both have bad wheels. Since the wheels cost almost as much as a new jack. I have been trying to figure out what I could make with them. Today it came to me, remove the lift mechanisim, weld on some pins and a bracket on top for the link and I have...

My 50 hour Service- Some Observations

I did the 50 hour on my 3510 Branson. I went with dealer filters, some people on the board had issues with off brand. Went with Castrol deisel oil, I've always had good service from Castrol. Also went with Texaco TDH Trans Oil. I have an account with local Cheveron/ Texaco distributor. I tried...

    3510 Hydralic Hookup

I got a good deal on a Jinma Backhoe and I plan to hook it up on my 3510 Branson. Mounting is not a problem because I own a Welding/Fab shop and I can build a sub frame to fit. What I need to know is if the rear hydralic hook ups come as a kit to add on to the tractor? Price? Looking under...

    3510 With Boxblade

I've got 21 hours on my 3510 (with R-4 tires) mowing and spreading fresh dirt. Today I decided to remove an old stump about 14 inches accross that I cut down 2 years ago. I have a KingKutter 5' Boxblade that I bought recently. I set the rip teeth 1 notch down and started scraping dirt and roots...

    3510 Grab Handles on Fenders

Has anyone else noticed how often they use the grab handles on the fenders? I have been finish mowing and box blading a lot and it occured to me that I have one hand on the wheel and one on the handle while looking back at the implements working. They are very handy and placed perfectly for my...

    3510 Up Date

Good news, bad news! Good news- neighbor had dirt to spread. Bad news- he only got 2 dump truck loads. I have a 7' blade that I used and this tractor handled it without grunting. Very powerful! I used 2nd range, 3rd gear with 4 wheel drive. I barely needed 4 WD but it's there so why not? Also...

    New Branson 3510, Major Problem!

I picked up my new 3510, R4 tires, no FEL or Backhoe, on 5-14-05 and brought it home to my 2 acres. I hooked up an old rusty bush hog I had and trimmed the areas in the back that I have been neglecting. I hooked up my 1 bottom plow and turned over the area of my 40' X 80' garden that was not...

    Branson price increase

I have had 2 dealers tell me that on 5-15-05 there will be a $500. price increase on Branson tractors from the factory. If you are shopping you might want to get serious and place your order or at least get a price good until date. Also 1 dealer said he is ordering 30 tractors to get the old...
