I usually have very good luck with welding stuff like that but in your case your welder definitely is not big enough for the job , I highly recommend taking it to a good welding shop to have it fixed properly.

Also make sure the bolt is tightened properly, if the bolt is to loose that will allow it to stretch before it shears and possibly make the sheared bolt difficult to remove.

I’ve actually had the threads wear out so that the top link came apart so I welded it in place but lost all adjustability, took about 40+ years to wear the threads out but it was probably never lubed, eventually I bought a new top link

I’m not sure how that actually works have seen MT3 57 and XR4155 come with either 2 or 3 remotes so I’m guessing it depends on what the dealer happens to order.

Thankfully my XR4155 came from the factory with three remotes , that was one of the big reasons why I bought it.

Well I have a XR4155 with cab and supposedly part of the rear fender is removable for chains, I’ve never tried removing anything but I don’t need chains. If I did ever need chains I would probably try front chains first because it just seems like those would be a lot easier to install or remove.

Oil threads usually get interesting with comments from doom and gloom enthusiasts. I prefer not to waste perfectly good oil and have no problem slightly stretching the factory recommended oil change intervals. My Honda Goldwing currently shows 573,000 miles and still runs like new.

They are also a Altoz zero turn lawnmower dealer, one of my brothers has a Altoz with tracks because of having to mow a pretty steep hill by his pond, he says he feels much safer mowing with the tracks.

Took 100 mile motorcycle ride to Ridgeland Wisconsin today to checkout the LS dealership . Yes they have lots of LS equipment in stock and a pretty big shop for working on stuff, the place seemed pretty busy.

Turning the blade backwards when the gravel wasn’t froze worked pretty well for me until last year when I finally spent the money for a new tractor and snowblower. The adjustable shoes they sell for plow trucks and ATV’s work pretty well but I never attempted mounting them on my rear 3 point blade.

I’m a big fan of the No Spill cans, own about 5 of them and they have never caused me any trouble. I have recommended them to several people and most think they cost to much but after they use them they tell me they love them and should have bought one years ago.

I am also a hydraulic top link owner, yes it weighs about 3 times more than a standard top link but that’s really not much of an issue for me. All the advantages definitely make it a very worthwhile investment.

seems like the outfit selling those things should finish the project at the factory so you could buy the finished product and just remove the stock arms and install the new arms with no welding required. If they were extendable like the stock arms that would really make hooking up so much easier !

Hopefully it came with brandnew warranty ? My XR4155 was delivered with 11 hours on the meter, other than the hour meter I couldn’t even tell it was used, came With free beet juice in rear tires a discount price and brandnew warranty that started the day it was delivered.

There’s a nearby scrap yard that years ago scrapped many old tractors, I bet some of that stuff could be worth a lot of money today but unfortunately it’s all long gone.

Best to relieve the pressure before disconnecting but that’s not always convenient.

Around here the stuff very often is buried quite a ways from where it’s supposed to be and sometimes it’s just laying on top of the ground.

I am a very happy LS owner but it sounds like you prefer the Kioti so you might as well buy Kioti .

Wow you sure have had a lot of very serious problems with the N series, I’ve been operating a 8N since I was about 10 years old and never ran into anything, its never even come close to being tipped over and when using the PTO the tractor stops like it’s supposed to.

Yes there is a very nice looking hydraulic hose place about 30 miles from here , maybe I will stop to see what they could do for me. I did add on an extension many years ago but it’s one of those skinny plastic like types that you can’t grip decently. I am very surprised Lock N Lube doesn’t sell...

Bought a Lock N Lube last week, wow I should have bought one a couple years ago when I first heard of them ! I wish they made a decent longer hose.

do you mean improperly mixed antifreeze ? Unfortunately If that’s the case I suspect your old reliable B7500 will be needing a replacement engine . The only antifreeze I will buy is premixed .

I believe those rods are stainless steel so they won’t rust very easily

Don’t you have fuel delivery service where you live ? Around here fuel gets delivered for the same price as buying it in town.
