You know you are old if you remember when $100,000/year salary was a lot. I remember when I was a kid, I thought "Boy, if I EVER can make the $17,000/year my Dad makes, I will be RICH!".

Bill Cosby Himself, he mentions his "$17,000 Ferrari". That will always stick with me...

It's almost always shocking to look back, and realize how quickly standards in cost and salary have changed.

I was with my Physician Grandfather when he passed in mid 80s. Private practice, Osteopath/Surgeon and was still charging $5 for an office visit. He was dressed & going to his office when he had a massive heart attack, 87yo.
