The current Derates are so dangerous & stupid. Truck suddenly derates to 5MPH while pulling a heavy load. What could go wrong?

If you can interface with their ecm’s, you most certainly have a shot to do so. But that’s the 64 million dollar question.
As long as the original algorithm has the room to support the changes with given componentry in the truck and there are no parameter lock outs.

That will be great, if it indeed happens.
I can’t imagine the economic impact of having a decades worth of “red haired stepchild” trucks.
It would be worse than the International “MaxForce” engines.

That last line rings true and the "divide and conquer" supports a global play against the USA. Some might conclude that even our supposed allies are in on it? Certainly the socialist extremity has much of it's roots in Europe.... the internet being the "lazy" venue, perfect for "catching the stupid".

The West coast (politically) is not part of the USA right now.... and we have been being "starved" in Oregon for the last 20 years.... recently, they (meaning the left loonies) have put a hidden carbon import penalty on all diesel and gas trucked in from out of state. We pay as much as $2.00 more per gallon here from the national average..depending on the area. It's always been a California-Washington-Oregon collaboration with conservative and rural people held hostage to the "stupid" that vote these people in charge.

I should also add that sanctuary status keeps importing more stupid people in and that includes way more than just illegals. with drugs, gangs, criminals, gays, trans, etc.....but it's the lazy, doped up citizen freeloaders in this group that fill the urban plantation to the hilt. The education system has become a dumbed down indoctrination geared at holding power into the future. Enter more "stupid."

I've lived here all my life. betrayal is too kind of a word for what these sick people have done to our state...Most of us rural folks want to rejoin the USA but the entrenchment of nefarious politics is deep and well funded

I do think our forefathers would be in shock if transported to todays state of affairs.

Accountability is often not possible and for those paying the bills it’s never enough…

I dunno. I've driven my Ram 3500 past the end of the dreaded 150-mile countdown twice, for well over 200 miles...and nothing happened or went wrong.

But about 15 years ago a Chevy pickup limited me to 55 mph, after I had shut it off in town.
