I'm impressed. Normally it seems like getting truthful information from China is next to impossible, but apparently AI has found a crack in the armor and now has access to info that not even the Chinese may know about.

The mainstream "news" as well...information has been hijacked and the truth suppressed.(lying by omission is probably the most common, and in turn, the most nefarious)

Who feeds the info?...probably the most powerful sponsors, using any available platform or site to support their agenda and bleat out their shared narratives. (many useful idiots on social media, also, those who aren't idiots that are more than happy to project their politics if it is aimed at the opposition.

Think global elites and their wish to control people's hearts and minds. How many times have we heard the "new world order"? Been hearing that since I was in high school and that was a long, long time ago. Where is that order? it won't happen...too many cultures with differing opinions, lawlessness, Western culture resentment, religious persecution, etc. Corrupt leadership enforcement and censorship that has one main goal, "remain in power" by any means. The clean air and water is their virtue signal and a powerful tool to get their means across....

I've went back to books. But you have to trust the sources as well....Victor David Hansen and Thomas Sowell..great historians that give a lot of background reflecting then and now. Pretty spot on perspective and just plain common sense based on historical outcomes. My old Websters book dictionary seems dated when you compare it to the online stuff...or is it just someone's "new definition" based on a personal perception. He she or it, 2 genders, etc.

I'm not getting old, I am old.....this is me on my 1953 International TD 6 (farm cat) clearing land for my home back in 1980. Old school is a more simple lifestyle. May be hard work at times but it was a chance to take control and plan for a lifestyle of your choice and not something that "authority" mapped for you ahead of time.

The rest of the world with far less resource's than the USA is able to build clean renewable energy why can't you

By the way, whats Trump doing with the EPA ? Relaxing diesel emissions, was that a hoax, or did i get only half of the story ?

I believe the congressional authority the EPA citied applies to stationary sources such as factories, etc.

The head of the EPA says he follows the law and if Congress expands his agency’s authority to include mobile sources he will enforce it…

For a very long time a vocal group has maintained the EPA overstepped its authority and the President agrees.

Then there is the California issue of superseding Federal Law… with the EPA blessing and this is also in question…

Maybe I can buy a Honda lawn mower or gas generator again as a California resident?

No offense to my Kiwi friends (I'm an All Blacks fan), but New Zealand would be a mid-sized state by population or land area. Its per capita GDP ranks near the bottom when compared to US states.

New Zealand is also blessed with having no bordering countries. Isolation allows for a simplistic life. You have a beautiful country, but comparing it to the US is meaningless.

I would love to live in NZ if I could afford a big chunk of remote land to run livestock. Gorgeous county.
I would question with all boats and ships used on the coast, are all of them going to be battery powered? I'm a couple of thousand KM from an ocean and much that is imported comes here via truck from the coast.
Can you bring the sheep to market on electric vehicles from the remote stations? Serious question.
