Two lane road. Speed limt 55. Being behind a driver that varies their speed between 40 and 60.

In driver training, they were called "dead foot drivers."

I, on the other hand, use my cruise control all the time.

I do when somebody's behind me. I also make sure on hills that I maintain speed with my foot accelerator.
If noone is behind me I might be guilty of slowing a bit as I look around.

Well, after my gripe about everybody mowing low and having dead grass on their yard I mowed mine yesterday afternoon. It's been six days since it was mowed and with the deck set as high as possible I was still cutting over half off in some places. Dead brown grass all over yard in those spots.

Oh well.

Driving mountain roads with passing lanes it seldom fails as soon as the passing lane opens the highway the slow drivers speed up…

Or there's a long line of cars coming the other way.

I'll rake that up and use it for mulch in my garden. Probably not a good idea if you have your lawn treated though.

Slobs that leave the table or booth they use in a fast food restaurant looking like a landfill. Chunks of food, full and empty catsup packets, gross napkins and spilled drinks are just some of the detritus they leave behind.
That really burns my biscuits.

It's everywhere now, not just fast food. It's a cultural shift of entitlement, and people thinking they shouldn't have to clean up after themselves, everywhere. Our prior country club was one of the worst places for that in recent years, we've since dropped our membership as a result, but it wasn't that way 15 or 20 years ago.

Probably the same slobs that toss their trash out of their cars into my yard.

This afternoon several Hospital parkers must have cleaned out their cars dumping trash on the ground…

I only saw one in action but making a scene is how one gets shot or car keyed…
