Satoh Bull S-630D
It will crank and is sounding normal when starting. Will not turn over. I have verified fuel is getting to injectors. Put new battery to it. And verified glow plugs are working properly. My next step is injectors but I’m hesitant to pull those out…any ideas? Will not turn over with starter fluid either. Video of it in link below.

Make sure the air filter is clean and the air path is clear. HOW did you verify the glow plugs are working correctly? Did you verify they're getting power? Frequently the connections at the glow indicator on the dash corrode and you get no power to the glow plugs.

I disconnected intake to bypass filter to make sure it had clear air flow. Yea the indicators on dash been busted for years..I Took them out of block ran a ground to them and watched em smoke and get hot while not in block. I didn’t test them for very long just saw smoke and knew they were heating up and put them back in block after verifying that.

Glow indicator is good.

The plot thickens….i believe it’s my injectors. I think I have found someone who can rebuild them but please provide any tips/info/criticism for those with more experience here…thanks

Well had a diesel mechanic out. He confirmed it was likely the injectors as compression seemed good from simple tests in the barn and other things seemed normal such as fuel pressure to injectors and ignition process. I ordered a new set of glow plugs for $30 and installed them just to cut my losses and mark it off as verified. Thing fired right up….my old plugs were getting hot and even smoking from all the carbon build up from their years of use during testing but I guess it just was not heating the cylinders up enough.. Posting to help someone else if they have issues on these older gray market Japanese units. Cheers.
