ATV mounted sprayer

I use the same sprayer on a Kubota RTV- no electrical issue.

I have a tank mounted on my zero turn. I just put the Glyphosate in the close-to-empty tank, fill it up, and drive. The sloshing around mixes it just fine. Never had an issue.

I normally fill 1/3 tank of water, put the glyphosate in and fill the rest of the way. Not sure if there is much more you need to do. If your concerned then use a spray want to agitate the water more when filling.

I would just put in your mixture and then take a fun ride through the trails. That'll mix it up good.

For who are using the utv/atv battery, is your stator keeping up OK?
Mine does. I got the largest battery that would fit. I keep it trickle charged. I use the pump for agitation and it has never acted slow. I will check the voltage sometime. I only spot spray because thats all that’s needed in my location.

Earlier mention about putting in the chemical, and then putting in the water, results in a high-amount of foaming. I can attest to that, same results for me, when approaching the fill-up in this manner.
Recommended approach I would suggest, is that earlier mention of filling up about 3/4 full with water, then put the solution in, and top it back off with the water, which should create enough 'agitation', to get the solution mixed around in the tank.

Earlier mention about using the sprayer, just connecting to the ATV battery with the supplied alligator clip power on/off unit, I do it this way, and have had no problems. Now, though, I'm not using the sprayer weekly, or even monthly, maybe just a couple times a year, for a duration of only 15-20 minutes each time. Not enough 'abuse' to the mechanics of my Polaris Sportsman 570, that gives me any concern.

I've got the 31-Gallon Northstar tow sprayer, and for the most part it's been a good unit, other than one thing that caused me a lot of time/energy. Keep yourself a spare alligator clip on/off power cable unit.
I had used my sprayer the first time, put it back in the workshop, out of the sun, no critters chewing on cables, etc. Came back to use it the second time, and that little on/off box had somehow failed, and I could't get the sprayer to turn On. Hours and Hours of troubleshooting, going back and forth to Northern Tool, buying replacement motor, etc. All it turned out to be, was a faulted On/Off power cord, after one use! For the money, $20 or so, keep one of those as a spare on-hand...

Oh, also... Keep yourself some spare parts of the plastic bits, and hose. The on/off black flow valves, some of the tubing, etc.
That tubing and the plastic parts all dry-out pretty good and quick. If you have to replace anything, cut off the tubing first with a box knife, from the black plastic flow valve. I'd tried to remove the o-rings, and yank on the tubing, and all it ended up doing was busting the adapter tips off those black on/off flow valves...

Nope. Trimec 992 and Barricade. Triclopyr should be fine. I'll be spraying that this fall for wild violet
