Replaced the 2014 Expedition with a 2017. So far very impressed with the 3.5 Ecoboost. I’ll hook it up and do a test run with the tractor later this week but I expect it will be a significant difference over the 5.4 V8
Worked on smoothing out an area for a future catch & sort system / sweep chute area. Quite a bit more to go but the weather will be nice the rest of the week.
Yes I’m very grateful to not have to worry about vehicles rusting out here. Closing in on 300k miles and runs great, it’s my daily driver for an 80 mile round trip commute.
Thanks it was very rough and uneven basically just a cut through trail. All I did was pull from the top with my box blade and make the slope more gradual then push the piles downhill with the FEL. Here is a before picture from back in October. And we also broke in the firepit grill that I built...
Re-sloped and smoothed out behind my upper pasture. Not finished with it yet but it will be ready for new fencing soon and will make mowing much easier.
Took a couple hours to dig out for the paver base and then set and glue the stones but I’m happy with it. Only seat time was a couple minutes backfilling.
I use these 2in straps with chain ends on both strap and the ratchet. I still have to ensure the strap isn’t rubbing but the chain eliminates some worry.
