    Disc harrow for 25 h.p.

I am looking for a disc harrow for my Nortrac 254 (25 h.p. , 4wd). I am looking at a "King Kutter" 66-inch unit. My questions is: before I pull the trigger on the deal and have them ship it half-way across the country, will the tractor pull this? I don稚 want to get more implement than I can...

    Front end snapped-- bummer

Bad news: I was using the FEL on my 254 Jimna/NorTrac while in 4x4 (ok-- I know its bad to do that, but I was in clay-like mud and thought there'd be enugh wheel slippage). I heard something snap in the front left wheel. Thinking this was bad, I limped it back to the garage in 2wd. However...

    No Go with Glow Plugs

OK- when I try to heat the glow plugs prior to a cold start, I notice the amp needle does not move. I assume that if the plugs are heating, the needle should bury itself and then slowly creep up to the mid-position. So, I check the fuse---- fuse is good. So, I repalced the fuse. Nothing. So I...

    Broken Knuckle

The left-side steering knuckle (for lack of a better term) on my Jimna 254 is broken. As such, I cannot steer the machine. I ordered a new part from Northern Tools for $110.00. It seems like an easy swap--- but then again, nothing these days is ever "easy". Is there anything I should be aware of...

Glo plugs: no go on the glow

When I try to start my Nor Trac 254, and I turn the key to the "heat"/glo-plug setting, I notice the amp meter no longer jumps-- in fact, it doesn't move at all. Since it now take forever to start the tractor when it's cold, is there something wrong with the glo-plugs? If they are the problem...
