Mystery part near fuel bleeder valve

Thank you for the pictures and solution! I was so frustrated. I have another "mystery part" I will ask the forum with a picture. It fell off my tractor years ago, but I can't figure out from where. I think it is a guide of some kind. You guys are excellent! BTW, my dad was stationed at EAFB...

Mystery part near fuel bleeder valve

Hello, I was changing my fuel filter when I mistakenly(late, wrong glasses...) unscrewed this part in the picture. It looks like it has nothing to do with the fuel, but holds something in place. If someone can identify how this needs to be re-installed, I would feel a lot better. I found the...

    3pt drawbar?

Hello, This attachment came with my case D45 tractor when I bought it used. It appears to be some kind of 3pt attachment with a drawbar. What is puzzling me is why it is rectangular, rather than triangular? I was going to use this to haul a woodmaxx 9900 PTO drive wood chipper. It doesn't look...

    Mice got me!

We have outside cats that patrol. We feed them wet food in a caged in area they can climb. As long as they can climb something to escape and sleep, we have been lucky. Our toms(neutered) are 14lbs too. They hunt for fun and routinely gift us.

Dirt Moving  proper care with grease

Hello, I have read(and practice) cleaning zerk points before greasing my tractor. As a person new to tractors, do you clean the joints where the grease exits as well? Does the old grease protect the joint, or act like a scouring agent since it is dirty? I bought my Case 45 used and in this...

Buying Advice Process in buying your first tractor

Sorry for the hiatus, but I chose to get the Case D45. Super nice guy selling the tractor. The ad on Craigslist had expired, and he said he held off relisting until we came and saw it. So far so good! We just got a Versatube shelter for it ordered, the sun out here can be merciless. I now...

Buying Advice Process in buying your first tractor

Funny you should mention. If I can attach the picture of an MX5200, 250hrs, with backhoe $29k. It has 3 aux hydraulics. I just have to get the dealer to swap our those turf tires..... I also just noticed in the part number it is a MX5200-DW, which I think is manual transmission, not HST...

Buying Advice  Process in buying your first tractor

Hello All, Like many threads I have read, it is my first tractor purchase. I have read many forum posts detailing the importance of deal support(especially for someone with little tractor knowledge). I have my spreadsheet and have been visited the dealerships to drive the tractors on the lot...

I have been at the Kubota and Deere in Escondido. I am recently interested in Yanmar there too. I am looking the compact range of hp. I don't want too big and tall, my neighbor has a JD4210 and said he wouldn't recommend smaller( JD3039, or YT235) are my current interests. We have 6 acres...

Hello! We are building our future homestead just outside San Diego. I have been reading the forums and articles for quite some time. I finally joined because I am getting ready to buy a tractor for keeping up our road, planting our trees, and moving around dirt. I'll post soon in the other...
