Nowadays, new batteries can be bad right out of the box. Take the battery out and go to auto parts store, they will "load test" battery for free. Only way to tell if battery is good and will show state of charge as well.

Hello, In the event you don't receive an answer from the poster.. Left front of machine are 2 relay/fuse boxes. Box closest to the seat (back of machine and has fuses in top half ) has a relay labeled "Safety Run" (bottom right- see attached pics).
