    Anyone live near a windfarm?

What if NG supplies start to run low? Will they shutter power plants or will they cut NG from the public? If the public can't use gas, will they go back to coal? I just wonder what the long term plan is.

    Anyone live near a windfarm?

I think we should utilize all types of power creation. If coal is nearby and it is VERY economical to use, burn coal. Windy areas should use wind and sunny areas should use solar. If a logging mill is near, burn biomass.

    Anyone live near a windfarm?

I would rather have a windmill near me than a data center. If we had less data centers, we could get by with less power plants, windmills, and solar farms.

    Anyone live near a windfarm?

Quote from a landowner in posted article: “People are also surprised at how quiet the turbines are,” Anderson said. “Some family members still live in our homestead only 2,000 feet from the turbines, and they don’t have any problems with noise or anything else." Here are the specs on the...

Where do mice like to hide in your tractor and chew wires ?

Mice liked the area behind the gauge cluster on my TC33D. They never chewed wires (lucky) yet but they did stink. I scrubbed the area with pine-sol and tied Fresh-Cab anti mouse packets to the wires back there. I never had another problem.

I drive past the ones near Cobb WI and they have become a non-issue after 24 years. The rhetoric about the noise has been proven to be misinformation. Some people even fight against the ones that you can't even see like off shore farms. Montfort wind farm marks 10th anniversary - RENEW Wisconsin

Bought a new to me PTO chipper. Need help undoing the previous owners "modifications"

Yes, I would make an attempt to have the pto shaft straight/level as possible. If that is not possible, it is best to have the front and rear u-joints at the same angle. If the front u-joint is at 5 deg, try to have the rear u-joint at 5 deg too.

    Airless toolcat tires

Instead of a complete molded tire, it looks like they bolt on tread segments to the wheel. Interesting, but heavy. Bobcat Toolcat Tires - EWRS-TC Series High-Performance - Evolution Wheel

In a few years we will be wishing we could have bills this low. It is only going to get worse.

R14 tires any good in the snow on hilly driveway?

Being that the fronts are much smaller, they make many more rotations per mile. They also scrub on turns and wear, especially on pavement.

R14 tires any good in the snow on hilly driveway?

Being that you needed to sand and you have a steep drive, I'm thinking you will need chains. (R14 and chains)
