Just found a you tube video from DK2. They call it a kinetic chipper. Must have heard cyclonic somewhere else. The disk system looks better to me.

Anyone have a DK2 chipper? They advertise some units with a cyclonic chipper, others are a disk chipper. I know the concept behind the disk chipper, but what is a cyclonic chipper? I want to chip brush/limbs no bigger than 4", most much smaller. Some green material, some dry.

It probably includes oil, fuel etc since the specs also included 175# operator weight. I am adding on the weight of the thumb and bucket.

I thought this might have been covered somewhere already, but I can't find it. Example: A trailer with a 5880 lb payload rating (7000-1120=5880), with say 750-1,000 lbs on the tongue. Will this safely haul a 5900 lb excavator?

Does anybody know the thread size of a Kubota U25/U27-4 drive motor drain plug? It is part #RB511-78940. All but one plug on each side is stripped out. They use a 6mm allen. I would like to find a replacement from a hydraulic supplier that has a hex head on the plug. Thanks

Kubota manual does not mention moly grease. Just some Shell or Mobil EP2 stuff. I'm always overthinking this stuff........

This is a follow up to my Grease for Excavator thread. I switched to Lucas Construction and Mining grease with 5% moly (available in my area). It seems that a few fittings do not want to take much of it, other fittings overflow out the pin bushings like the old grease I was using before. Is moly...

Schaeffer's is only mail order for me in CT. I can buy Valvoline Palladium with 3% moly at a local NAPA store. Also available with 5% moly.

Excellent idea. Someone once said " If you have to get off your tractor, you're doing it wrong". I will build a similar greaser.
