Never put a cold plug into a hot engine. I don't know the science behind this, but it has always worked for me. Richard

Particularly necessary in aluminum heads. The Al/Fe differential expansion "works" the joint. A little piece of aluminum cracks loose...

I'd chase it. Ground the spark plug wires and crank it over before installing the spark plugs.

Deck not level, low side, high side, and when high side matches up against low side on next pass it shows more... Just guessing here.
