Need simpler ideas to make this is old trailer dump again.

Back in the old days, people made dumpcarts by putting a gravity dump box from old narrow gauge rail trolleys that were used to manually dig canals. They took WW2 army surplus axles, scrapped the rail wheels and put the dumpbin on that axle, to move earth at reparcelling operations in the 60s...

Why not a small PTO rock crusher?

We used to have a belt driven firewood saw which used to be a fodder beet cutter. We cut off the wheel arm of an old Fiat, welded that wheel against the belt pulley and flanged a PTO stub between the lug nuts and wheel.

Just add another one on the back to bend it back. Or put another forklift under the bend, the truck is scrap anyway.

My last S70 had that option. When the wiper arm broke i took both off and tied the washer fluid hose shut with a zip tie. My 850 and previous S70 didnt have them.

Has anyone built a sprayer for dispensing chemicals 30-40ft into trees?

In Europe we have the oak processionary, caterpillars whose hairs cause a burning rash when they drop down on you, or suffocate dogs when their throat swells shut when they eat them. Municipalities suck them up with a slurry tanker half full of water, or use orchard sprayers to jet a mist of...

    Building a flail mower

The ticking you hear is a sideshift hose ticking against the PTO shaft, so i turned it off before it grabbed... otherwise no funny noises😅 I just need to install an extra remote valve before i can stick those sideshift hoses somewhere safe 😉

    Building a flail mower

All right i made it dirty. Luckily the rotor wasnt bent, it ran without vibration. The reduction gearbox from the silage spreader didnt make weird noises either, now its ran at 5 times the output speed. Now i can take the pitman arm out of the folding mechanism, paint it, and drill grease zerks...

Searching for a truck I may never find?

Barely broken in. Not comparable to the plow truck Haydude is looking for.

Why not a small PTO rock crusher?

At 300rpm the power surges are less than a baler at 75 strokes per minute. Next to that, they are usually belt driven which softens driveline vibrations.

My mate was helping another mate who married to the West of the country, which is more or less city to city with a single farm between them. His inlaws said, it seems youre getting used to the city west ! No, he said, tomorrow night i take off with screeching tires back east. They looked...
