Kubota T2290 Drive belt too tight

Assuming that the same deck belt was installed that was taken off in combination with the burning smell I would be leaning to the belt has been incorrectly installed.

Is there a safe way to pump gasoline into a plastic tank in the bed of a truck?

The main issue with filling gas cans in the back of trucks was the rubber bed mats that prevented the static from disipating.

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

USFMCA considers commercial as a vehicle or combination with a weight or weight rating over 10,001 lbs. with some other qualifiers, but every pickup truck including 1/2 tons could fall into that category.

Backhoe bucket pin backed out one side

Seems unusual considering grease tends to migrate through every opening. So i would expect grease to be present toward the outer edges of the pin over time, at least some in the wishbone. From the rust around the bolt opening I would say that bolt through the pin has been missing for a period...

Basic small engine problem - What fixed it?

I don't even want to count how many I have found over the years. Shop pack box of J19LM (24 plugs) that would run for about 5 minutes and quit. NGK plugs used in Honda ATV's that will fire between the center electrode and the plug housing not the normal spark gap which won't fire under...

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

From the website that you posted Class A*: Any combination of vehicles which has a gross combination weight rating or gross combination weight of 11,794 kilograms or more (26,001 pounds or more) whichever is greater, inclusive of a towed unit(s) with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross...

Which model JD 345 & questions

From further research it looks like that FD611 is outside the serial number range for the plastic gear. Supposely serial number FD611V000001-FD611V000050 may have the plastic gear.

Which model JD 345 & questions

If the engine has 1500 hours than I would bet it already has the metal gears. Around that time frame they started producing that engine with the metal camshaft and oil pump. Most of the plastic camshafts failed at 800-1200 hours.

R&R Roll Pin on Mower deck.

One fits inside of the other. You drive the outer pin into place and then drive the other pin inside of it. I have seen a few setups like that over the years where they put one spring pin inside of the other. Years ago they would use a rolled pin. Looked like a rolled up piece of paper.

    Honda FRC800 Tiller, Aftermarket Belt?

    That belt is that price because it is somewhat of a specialty dimension. Standard B belts are 21/32 by 7/16 or .65625 x .4375 A 5L is 21/32 x 3/8 or .65625 x .375 the Honda belt is 16.7 x 9 or .65625 x .35433 or 21/32 by 23/64 width and height. So even though a B and the 5L are the...

Mini-Skid Steers - Are they good or bad?

All can be tipped if not careful. Most machines up to 1000 pound ROC are 36-42 inches wide. Above that they are closer to 46-48 wide. So all are narrow for rated capacity so are side tippy and have to be careful while climbing slopes because of their design they are rear heavy and will tip...
