    td8g dresser steering pump?

Thanks i found the one re fitting everything but have nit seen the inspection one. You don't know the thickness of the pads do you? There looks to be heaps of adjustment , might go for 10mm from looking at pictures if i can't get a size.

I got a picture of the suction filter and it does have an oring on top. I rang Komatsu they can order them but it will take a while and cost a heap . Does it sound ok to just match them from a bearing services ? Or does someone know the sizes ?

    td8g dresser steering pump?

Thanks, I wasn't sure and no doubt the oil will have to be caught in a container , maybe cut the side out of an oil bottle but not much room there. Lucky because i could have damaged something just screwing it. You wouldn't know the cartridge number would you? If not i have to take it off and...

    td8g dresser steering pump?

Feeling a bit better so i at least wanted to pull strainer. It confirmed to me anyway i'll have to do the pads. lots of junk and fine steel wires, bits of the pads i think, and probably why the pressure dropped, I could not get the filter off. Looks to me like a screw in outer with drop in...

    td8g dresser steering pump?

Thanks, I think i should pull the cover. I don't want to wreck the discs and make a huge job out of what seems simple. I talked to a brake reline mob here in australia . They can reline pads for me. Would you know the thickness of factory ones ?. I suppose it's not too important as it seems...

    td8g dresser steering pump?

Someone has been in there before the guy i bought from had it . He said the foot brake never worked . He was on flat ground and never a problem . I'm in goat country and would feel much safer with a brake. when i lifted floor the shaft from the pedal is missing so if i want to fix it i really...

    td8g dresser steering pump?

Thanks , the guy i bought it from said he adjusted it on the side that didn't work . He said it did not make a difference. I'll have to take cover off to fix foot brake i think . If i do that i can adjust everything to spec. It's looking like i have no option to fix properly . If i adjust the...

Thanks, How much can you see from pulling the round rear cover? Do you know what pressure it should be? maybe i can buy a gauge and check it. I'll do the screen this weekend, you wouldn't know what size o ring i need do you. It's a pain if i go all the way down and pull it off i won't have...

    td8g dresser steering pump?

I need to fix the pressure problem though, will be great if just suction strainer, I think i should fix that first. Am i wrong ? I probably should take the transmission cover off anyway to see how to fix the brake rod that seems to be missing. I'll have to get a machine down to it to pull the...

    td8g dresser steering pump?

I did read some explinations on line . The system works backwards to what i thought , I thought it was free spinning and got stopped by pressure to turn. As you explained the pressure is on until released for turning . So have i burned the pads by using it on low clutch pressure?

    td8g dresser steering pump?

I just bought it it only turned one way and pressure on gauge on top left of dash was only just in green. I wanted to fix it before use but its dry and a fire bug lit fires bordering my block . So i decided to put breaks in, turning left then having to reverse to turn right on same brake. Then...
