ZD 326 Blown Head gasket ZD 331 engine swap???

Not sure there will be that much of a gain. My 326H has a 72" deck with plenty of power. With that said, I am a proponent of more power. If you need an engine, a 331 would be easy but how about sourcing an 1105 turbo? I built a Grasshopper 928D that had a blown up engine. Found a 34hp 1105 Turbo...

The BEST HVAC system for your home, hands down

When we replaced the 2 systems in our house it took us interviewing over a dozen companies before we found someone willing to do the manual calculations. We knew we had duct issues just from a couple hours of reading, also knew we had too much capacity. The Trane we had installed never worked...

    TODAY'S GUN TIME

Spent maybe 45 minutes on it. Don't cringe, 800 grit, 1000 grit and then 2000 grit. Stroke in the same direction. Had the sandpaper wrapped around a small block of wood and used plenty of oil to keep it lubricated. DO NOT go back and forth with the stroke, it must be the same direction.

    TODAY'S GUN TIME

Picked up this Springfield on the cheap due to the big ole scratch and many less severe scratches. A little work and well, I think it turned out quite well.

    Engine Oil in UDT

I'd change it. But I wouldn't be able to sleep thinking about it and if anything did ever happen that would be to blame

Why do I want to buy a pre-Tier4 tractor?

Not true, spoil may be to wrong term but it will start to crystallize. That's why dpf systems have a way of sensing quality. Our m6-131 has been in the shop 3 times for issues, it has 2200 hours on it. All three times it go an updated replacement def pump, sensor, injector and all 3 times a...

    L45 Grapple

There is no way it is "almost identical" and weighs half the weight, just not possible. I've looked at several $1k grapples and none of them have bushings and greaseable pins, they're using bolts and nylon lock nuts as pins, none of them have the clamps come down on steel, rather they free...

    L45 Grapple

What is a good grapple for the L45? I picked this Caterpillar brand 72" grapple up for a deal but it really is to heavy. The build quality is excellent, greasable pins, 1/2" steel, good cylinders but 1050 lbs. If I could get this quality but with 3/8" steel it would be 200lbs lighter allowing...

    Refurbishing an L45

I towed the L45 home from northern TN, about a 3.5 hour trip which included the interstate and Mount Eagle. The Ecoboost could actually pick up speed going up the mountain and handled the weight just fine going down. It's all good, keeps things interesting

    Refurbishing an L45

Gave the Bota a little love. The loader valve cover was beat up pretty good and the cover for the filters was missing. Also, for Christmas got a 3rd function kit. I'm not impressed with the handle, seems kind of cheap but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

    L45 3rd Function Install Help

See the pic, the instructions state the hose with the red tape....neither hose has red tape and both hoses have the same ends and are the same length. I'm assuming the "out side" is the return, how do I determine which is the return at the block? And does it really matter when both hoses are...
