Update to this problem! Had to take tractor to John deer dealer (now known as United ag&turf). Their solution was to remove the hood, center floor panel, radiator and cooler assembly. Removed the drive shaft and transmission filter. Removed and replaced both cooler tubes.reassembled tractor...

Did you try the Marine Tex? Did it work? Interested, I have same problem.

Need advice to remove a steel hyd line that runs from rear to front that leaks just as it bends around front on engine. Is underneath and very hard to see and get at.
