Really there was no extra load on the rear axle. Should have been a bit less then normal because of the full bucket of dirt...

Just a thought did you change BOTH fuel filters? The one under the tractor near the lift pump is normally the one that fills up with gunk

If the stop solenoid is removed and the starter spins over good, there is nothing electrical keeping it from running except the lift...
