    2538 temp gauge

https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/2538-2638-wiring-diagram-and-3rd-function.419584/ This thread has a wiring diagram in it. Looks like if it is the temperature gauge it is part of the dashboard assembly.

No, I am NOT going to try to take down a dead 100' Hickory tree!

Another idea to consider: rent a large enough all terrain lift and start topping it from the top down. A day's rental is probably all you need.

Pulling a stump jumper off a Land Pride rotary cutter?

I built this puller to get a stump jumper off that had been on for 30 years. Used a 20 ton jack to break it loose and the 2 ton in the picture to finish. I drilled 4 holes through the pan to allow the all threads to connect to bars behind the rotor bar.

    Mahindra engine

It is my understanding that the 2538/2638 engines are in-house products: https://www.mahindrausa.com/mcrd-technology/ Built in India and shipped to South Korea to be installed on the tractors there.

2538 rear tire lug nut issue

I wonder if these lug nut retainers would help: https://www.alltiresupply.com/products/checklink-wheel-nut-indicator-retainer-33mm-yellow-50-bag-cly33 Or maybe the alltiresupply people could recommend something.

Tractor Sizing 6' brush hog on a 30Hp tractor

If you mow on uneven ground or slopes consider the extra weight of the 6 ft rotary cutter. There will be a significant tail wagging the dog effect. Good luck with your choice.

    removing Brush Hog blade bolts

In my case, I took the whole assembly off the mower. Once the assembly was blocked up on the concrete floor I was able to whack the blade bolts properly with a sledgehammer to remove them. The bolt ends were chamfered well enough that I didn't have to grind anything off after beating on them...

    Wet sandblasting

We had a paint contractor wet sandblast a 4 water tanks for us due to lead paint. A skidsteer and crew put that spoil in roll off dumpsters and hauled it away. Then parts of the tanks were dry blasted and painted the same day.

Mahindra 1533 ground issues and won't start

You can use a jumper cable to go from the frame to the negative side of the battery to test the negative cable. I just had to replace my negative cable due to no start, it looked fine and Ohmed fine but wouldn't allow necessary current to flow. Destructive testing of the cable revealed a fine...

First tractor - ~20 acres, Debating Yanmar YT235 vs Kubota L3902

Regarding the seemingly high quotes you are getting from contractors. Why not get a quote for a day's work and see how far that goes. That would get some of the job done and give you a fairly accurate cost estimate for the remainder of the work. Contractors don't like uncertainty and bid...
