B7800 will not run after rain?

Another possibility is that the air filer got wet and isn't allowing enough air into the engine.

    Farm Gyver

Looks to me like the original smooth edged part was slipping in the drive wheels so they added a file to get a better grip.

    Things you forget to maintain.

My favorite issue is remembering to add salt to my water softener. It needs to be done about once a month, but isn't consistent about timing.

    Deer vs. Apple trees

An electric fence works well also. Once they touch it they won't come back. I have had good luck with the 4' fiberglass posts and white fine tape from TSC.

What site do you use for weather forecast?

I use weather.com (the weather channel) and accuweather.com. They seldom agree but an average of the two comes out fairly close to the actual weather.

You Know You Are Old When

With the way the idiots are driving today, about the only thing that would be completely safe on the road is an army tank. Around here the biggest problem is teenagers stealing cars and crashing them.

You Know You Are Old When

I saw this on another website, thought it might be appropriate here too.

Fragile, Inaccurate, or Useful? Let’s Talk Bucket Level Indicators!

I could not find any indicator that I liked so I built my own. The curved face is linked to the bucket and rotates as the bucket is tilted. There are two pointers to indicate position. The one closest to the curved face is linked to the loader frame and shows the current level condition of the...

    Where are they all going?

Maybe they are heading to the pharmacy to get a refund because it didn't work.

North Carolina winter driving, love it.

In the early 1970's I was working on an installation near Shelby, NC. I got up for work one morning to find a foot of snow on the ground! It is not supposed to do that in NC!!!
