Didn't "build it," but definitely DIY Man Basket...

If you have a set of pallet forks, buy one of those caged 270 gal totes. You can usually find them on CL for 35-75 bucks. Remove the 4 bolts holding the top bars on and pull the plastic tank out. Strap the cage (I use a 2" ratchet - way overkill) to the forks. You now have a man basket for...

    I'm Back!

I had a 2010 3510i that I loved dearly, but was forced to sell in 2014. Bought a 2015 TYM 353HST because no Branson dealers in WI had a tractor on the lot to look at, let alone buy. While the TYM has served me well, my daughter and her husband recently bought 25 wooded acres and built a house...

    Ballast / Counterweight

Hey all! I have a 3-Point Cat 1 Counterweight that I need to unload. The box is made of 1/8 steel and has internal cross bracing. The top-link mount is welded to the back side of the weight, and it’s about 48” tall. I put about 28 - 60# bags of concrete in it so it weighs right around a ton...

    Bought a new snow bucket...

Ordered it yesterday from Jenkins Iron & Steel out of Minnesota. 6 footer for my 35hp TYM. www.jenkinsironandsteel.com Free shipping included, and it was priced $600 less than a locally sold bucket made by the QuickAttach folks. Dealt with Adam, and he proved to be a real joy to work with...

    Mistake????

Starting to think that maybe I should of kept my Branson 3510i. Hydraulic fitting broke 10 days ago under seat, resulting in about 2 gallons of fluid loss, and a bunch of dead grass. Called dealer and texted pics of leaking fitting. Dealer promised to get parts on the way, and I agreed to...

    Simple question re: Oil Capacity...

Good morning all. I've searched the forum without much luck, so here goes... Time for the 50 hour service and I have some ??? 353 HST with the 4 cyl Mitsubishi engine - Oil capacity is? Using Rotella T6 Synthetic 5W40. Dealer told me to just change the hyd filter as the fluid is still fine...

T353HST with new Woods BB60X Brushbull

Thought I'd finally post a couple pics of the new mower mounted on the tractor. Yes I know - the PTO shaft is not yet attached...It'll be a couple months before I do any cutting with it! :)

    Best laid plans...

Never seems to work out the way you planned it. Was planning to get another Branson (4520R), but had issues finding one locally that was free of the Tier-4 crap. Ended up getting a TYM T353HST - Same hp as the 3510i that I sold... Looking forward to the new ownership experience, especially...

    New TYM owner...

T353HST being delivered on Friday afternoon. Was going to go with another Branson, but had difficulty getting a new unit locally without the Tier - 4 emissions crap. Was planning to go bigger (had a 3510i previously), but ultimately went with another 35hp unit. Really impressed with the TYM...

    Grapple?

Best thing I ever bought was a Markham light-duty root grapple. With a new tractor (Branson 4520R) on the way, I plan to buy another. Should I stick with NAI (Markham Welding), or are there others that you would recommend? Looking for recommendations. Thoughts? Thx Lunk

    Wider Front Tires

I've had my 3510i for over 4 yrs now. Love it and the 300+ hours of worry-free service it's given me. One thing I'd like to do is go to a wider tire up front. Can anyone tell me if a set of 27 x 10.5 -15. tires will fit on the stock rims? The tractor currently has 27 x 8.5 - 15 R-4's up front...

So I picked up a newe FEL Plow last Spring...

I've always used a large bucket on my tractor for snow removal with good results - Just a bit irritating to always have a windrow of snow to clean up. Last Spring I pulled the trigger on an brand new 84" FEL Plow with twin hydraulic rams and universal QA Plate for 1500 bucks. Iron Horse brand...

    Tilt-bed or Straight

Buying a new trailer. I've gotten prices on a pair of 20', 5 ton tandem axle utility trailers. One is a hydraulic tilt-bed (manual pump), and the other is a standard 5 ton channel frame non-tilting, with 4' fold up knee ramps. Prices are actually within a couple hundred bucks. Any...

    Branson -

Probably heavier built than many / heavier overall. Nice features for the money. Decent sized operator platform, with a large, low-mounted fuel tank which eases fueling, and helps lower the center of gravity. The loaders are generally spec'd a little higher than some similar-sized...
