    Light bulb cost.

New dealer down the road. Went to inquire about a few things for my 2008 DK45. Key - $20, hi/low beam light bulb - $51.95 EACH! Can order online much lower in price and will do that. Hard to support local with prices like that.

Logging winch with 2' trailer receiver

I often take my 14' landscape trailer with me when collecting fire wood. The problem has been that the winch just clears the trailer tongue when 3pt in at it's highest point - not sure if this is good for the 3 pt. Also depending on terrain the trailer tongue has caught the bottom of the...

This has been on my bucket list for several years... built in 1/2 day it works great. It is made of hard wood and a piece of sacrificial pine for the vice part base. Can anyone ID the hardwood. I get these free from my brother-in-law. They are used to sticker locomotive rails sent via ship...

    Bricks and more bricks...

This is a test fire for the new outdoor fireplace. Just completed today - 300+ bricks. There will be a fire box with built-in adjustable grill to the left - need to get more bricks. The bricks are recycled from a 125-150 year old building. They are hand made and wood fired based on the colour...

This will a spring project. How would you tackle the job of keeping sand dry. I use it on our lane in the winter. I have a section of a building that I can wall and add a door. 20 Year Remodel

My workshop was cobbled together when we first moved in. Over the years it has become a catchment area for other people's stuff(friends like to give me stuff - tools etc.) plus my own. Often times it was difficult to work in, was not organized etc. With my recent back injury(which is on the mend...
