    DK5310SE Starting Problem

I have a 2020 DK5310SE. Several months ago, it developed an issue where at any random time, I could get on the tractor, turn the key, all the lights would come on, but the starter wouldn't do a thing. I could try and try, moving the shifter in and out of gears, moving the brake pedal up and down...

    DK5310SE Safety Switch Issue

My 2020 DK5310SE is driving me crazy lately. Only around 110 hours but for some reason, it takes forever for the brake pedal and ignition to accommodate each other so the starter will turn over. It's obvious something has gotten out of alignment. But sometimes I will have to press, release, or...

Best Attachment for Parking Lot Leveling

I finally made my decision. I was just going to just get a 6' landscape rake but the company that has me doing this job on a monthly schedule wants me to do another business they manage on a quarterly basis. So after researching quite a bit, I found a very good deal at Titan Attachments. That's...

Best Attachment for Parking Lot Leveling

I have a lawn maintenance account that has about an acre of land that tractor trailers use. Part is a long path and the rest is the loading dock area. It was probably started as crusher run many years ago but now it's a little bit of everything. It's extremely hard packed and develops pot holes...

Comparison Bobcat tractors vs. Kioti models?

I stopped by my closest Bobcat tractor dealer yesterday. They had a 4050 out front so I thought I'd take a look. I have a DK5310SE and am considering replacing it with a new similar model without the backhoe. Good looking tractor but once I saw it didn't even have the telescopic links on the 3...

    Unnecessary Backhoe

Thanks for all the replies. I had been pondering selling the whole thing as mentioned here. I'm going to go talk to the local Bobcat dealer and call my LS dealer that's about an hour away. If they have something I want in stock, I'll either see what they'll give me on trade or buy something new...

    Unnecessary Backhoe

I bought a new DK5310SE a couple of years ago. I had them add the backhoe as part of the deal. For me, it's been a complete waste of money. The thing is great but I've only used it twice in two years. Once to play around and get a feel for it and the other time to bury my dog. If I were to...

    DK5310SE Sluggish

I should have replied again but I just plain forgot. It appears the brakes aren't completely releasing as Michiganiron posted. For now, I lubricated the crap out of the linkage and worked it all back and forth quite a bit. For now, that appears to have eliminated the problem. Thanks

    DK5310SE Sluggish

Thank so much. It definitely feels like brakes dragging but I just assumed not. I will look deeper into this tomorrow.

    DK5310SE Sluggish

I have a two year old 5310 with 90 hours. Slowly but surely, it seems the HST is getting more and more "sluggish". The best way I can describe it is in medium range (primarily when not warmed up), it whines more than I think it should and it seems to be extra sluggish. Once the tractor warms up...

Oil & Fuel HST Filter and Transmission Filter

Everything is done. New Rotella T6 with filter, new trans and HST filters, and about 8 gallons of hydraulic fluid from what came out from the trans filter removal. Thanks all.

    HST Filter Change

Tractor is done and working well. Manual says only the filters needed to be changed at 50 hours so I assumed a gallon of hydraulic fluid would be more than enough to cover spillage. Once the transmission filter was removed, I estimate 8 of the 11 gallons came out. It was a joke/nightmare. But 8...

Oil & Fuel HST Filter and Transmission Filter

Thanks everyone. I will continue in the morning.

    HST Filter Change

Yes, the manual has two filters listed. But I couldn't tell if that meant one for the HST machines and the other for the Synchro Shuttle. Thanks to most for not being asshats.

    HST Filter Change

With today's typical HST tractors, do they generally have a transmission filter and an HST filter? My dealer sold me both when I told them I was going to do my 50 hour service. But in all honesty, she was guessing as much as I was and just reading parts numbers from the book. I'm in the middle...
