I think that did the trick. Fluid was at the lowest mark so I filled it up and lubed all the joints, and fired it up. Much easier to shift now. Thanks.
My Kioti CK2510 (Hydrostatic trans) getting hard to shift into gear. I used to be able to shift my weight forward and use the momentum to help it slip into gear but even that isn't working as well.
Any thoughts?
My FEL Bucket drops like a rocket and is very hard to control because it moves so fast. Is there a restrictor I can put inline to give me more control over the bucket, or the ability to move it much slower?
Thanks
Yes - I guess. My mower is older (model 917.276390) and the online parts fiche don't even show the carb anymore. I bought a Carbhub carb off Amazon for the Craftsman 18hp LT1000 and it was the same. Just to see if that would do it. And as I said, I followed the instructions on more than one...
It had the stock carb (I guess a Nikki) and I replaced it with an Amazon special - (probably didn't even need a new carb, but I wanted to see if it might be the culprit), but adjusting the high speed adjustment had little effect with either carb. It was kinda weird. But I did adjust as best I...
No matter what I do I can't seem to get my old LT1000 to run smoothly.
I've watched (and followed) a ton of the Taryl Fixers All videos, and have adjusted the governor, valves, carb (even installed a new carb) and the darn thing just keep surging. I can literally watch the governor go...
FYI - I had he same problem many people do with the Kioti 50hr service and that was TRYING TO REMOVE THE SUPER TIGHT FILTERS!!! I broke my filter wrench trying to get the transmission filter off using it and a 3 foot pry bar!
So my friend loaned me this simple strap wrench and it...
I changed the HST filter and the Transmission filter but can only find one dip stick and ONE place to refill. Are they both filled from the same filler neck?
I just went over 50hr of use on my Kioti CK2510.
I called the dealer to see about getting the 50hr service and they quoted me $650.00.
Wow. That seems high, but then I have not done it before so I don't know.
I can get the full set of filters on Amazon for about $125, and all of the fluids...
I am looking at Titan Bolt-on bucket forks. Don't need them a lot except for moving brush and occasional lifting.
Not sure if the ones with the 30" forks are enough for lifting pallets or if I have to go with the ones that have the 43" forks.
Any opinions on which length is more useful? I...
I'd like to now has anyone built something that they can simply drag around behind their tractor to smooth out "lumpy" ground?
First of all, where I live the "dirt" is actually sand. There are many Oak Trees, and clumpy grass.
I think if I had something heavy enough to pull behind, but...
