Removing gasket cement from inside of toilet tank - how?

Don't know what your dealing with, but I've had good luck with brake parts cleaner. If your sure it's concrete, I'm not sure you'll find anything to dissolve it

Future of HVAC and industry supply issues.

Worked on about as many millivolt systems as I did 24 v systems. Great thing about the millivolt system was, you had heat in the winter during a power outage. Later on, we replaced the old FF's for central heat and cooling systems. Used the old FF opening as the return !

Future of HVAC and industry supply issues.

I've worked on thousands of these. Even installed a few way back when . Pretty simple units, but about every one was going to be a crawl to make repairs

Buying a ZTR, what should I look for, or avoid?

I agree. I bought a Kubota diesel Z TURN several yrs ago and have been pleased. Those diesels are very fuel efficient too !

Need advice installing a propane shop furnace

that heater will never ignite that diesel hanging from the ceiling. Most fuel vapors like gasoline being more flammable that diesel, are much heavier than air and gather closer to the floor. It would take a lot of gasoline vapors to be ignited by that unit heater up in the air

I was just going by the pic you posted. I didn't see the walls insulated is the reason for that comment

Need advice installing a propane shop furnace

I have hung them with all thread, unistrut. metal straps, etc, it's going to be a challenge to heat that non insulated pole barn to 55 deg. in the winter.. Attempting to do so is going to eat a lot of propane. Before I ever installed this heater, I would carefully inspect the HE for rusted out...

    One inch from death

I'm always jumping off my Kubota.. It's HST and stops in it's tracks when you let off the go pedal . You are one lucky person. It only takes a split second to get seriously injured, or killed. Saw a woman over the weekend get thrown off a horse she has ridden many times. For some reason, the...

Equipment buying negotiation strategies, haggling stories sellers, etc.

Mine wasn't a demo and I really didn't need the wheel/tire upgrade, or the winch. I had never gotten stuck in the 4010 that I use to own and it didn't have a winch. just got a better deal on this because it was a left over 24 model ranch edition .

    All Things Rural King

Better prices ? Guess it depends on what you're buying. I can buy 2.4.D at TSC cheaper than Rural King . Same brand https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/gordons-amine-400-2-4-d-weed-killer-2-1-2-gal https://www.ruralking.com/2-4-d-amine-weed-killer-2-5-gallon-11320-102

Equipment buying negotiation strategies, haggling stories sellers, etc.

I just purchased a new left over Kawsaki mule pro fxt 1000 ranch edition . I pretty much did all negotiating over the internet. I offered 18K out the door, and they wanted 20 K out the door because this UTV had upgraded tires and wheels... I told them I was negotiating on the same type UTV in...

    Burn barrel question...

I order a lot of stuff here at the farm. I get a lot of things packaged with Styrofoam. I bust it into smaller pieces and place it in the garbage container for the garbage truck to haul off. Sometimes, It takes a couple weeks to get it all gone, as the garbage truck only runs once a week here ...

    Burn barrel question...

take them to the metal recycling facility, or cut them up with your HVAC torch and put them in the trash container little by little until they are all gone .

Best Approach for Whole House Wiring?

I didn't build this house, but I would have added more wall receptacles. I don't think one can have too many. One thing the person did that I do like is they used 12/2 wire throughout the house which I find great ! All 110V 20 amp circuits
