    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Cold, rainy day in S. Texas. Threw a couple of square bales and bags of range cubes in the loader bucket and hauled them through the mud out to the cows then called it a day.

    Trailer locking up brakes.

Hi, I have a 2009 20' Top Hat Gooseneck Trailer that recently started locking up all four tires anytime I apply my trucks brakes -- even if I just barely tap the trucks brake pedal or have my brake switch turned down to zero it still locks them up instantly. It will keep the trailer brakes...

Hi, I am looking at purchasing a Woods BW180X 15' rotary cutter for pasture shredding. Having never owned this brand of machine, can anyone share any experience, advice or any issues / problems with these cutters? I mow approx. 65-70 acres ranging from nice open pasture to rough, thorny...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

My Dad brought his Massey Ferguson 1749 out to my place and helped me catch up on shredding the front pasture (about 20 acres). Got a good picture of us and our "toys" LOL!

Massey Ferguson 1749 vs Kioti NX4510

My father owns a 1749 with cab and HST, he paid a little over 40k for his after adding extra rear remote and some other options to the tractor. His had to order his, took right at 6 months to arrive. Been a great tractor for him, no serious issues so far, but if you're planning on lifting...

Kubota size able to handle round bales

My Dad's compact MF 1749 HST can handle 2 round bales front and rear or just one on the front. He runs water ballast in the big 16.9 R1 rear tires. The only downside is the 9.5 front tires looked really loaded with a big bale in the front and nothing on the 3ph. Didn't cause any problems, but...

    Considering a Massey 2605

I've put quite a few hours on my Dad's 2605 4x4 with FEL, it's an impressive tractor. Does excellent job of getting all of its power to the ground. Though it would be nice to have, I haven't really missed having a diff lock on it in 4 wheel drive, traction is very good. IMO there's a few...

    Buying Advice MF 2605

My father has a 2009 4-wheel drive 2605 with a loader. It's has about 1000 hours on it now and has been a great tractor, no problems or trips to the dealer other than oil changes / maintenance. Only things I don't like about it are no differential lock on back axle or limited slip on the front...
