Outside storage for attatchments: How to keep the weeds down?

I have some used pressure treated plywood from a project tear down. It's rough but in tact. I plan to put it on pallets scavenged from my local small box hardware store. I'll make an attachment "row" that I can back the tractor up to, and cover with tarps.

    Auger Stand

I'm hoping with a stand I may use it more.

    Auger Stand

There are some good YouTube videos on making a stand for your auger attachment. What is not provided is a way to more easily change to a different size auger - like 6" to 8" for example. Any ideas?

Owning a small tractor is a blessing.

There is almost no end to what you can do with a tractor a few implements.

    Worst oil change ever

Stealing from the lyrics of some great songs: Sometimes it's a *****, sometimes it's a breeze. Sometimes your're the windshield, sometimes your the bug.

    Suggestions for tree removal

At my age? Call our local tree service, owned and staffed by young men with climbing gear, boom truck, chippers, etc., etc. They are licensed, bonded, insured. I would have them take the broken part off and leave the trunk there sticking up. They will take the wood away or leave it for you to...

One Tractor To Do It All?

I am pondering a second tractor to have the arena groomer on all the time, and leave the brush hog on my current JD 870. At 70, I can change implements (these are the old school, push the button with your thumb), but its a bit of a hassle and so I procrastinate sometimes.

Owning a small tractor is a blessing.

Totally agree. Two professionsal people who have worked on my compact tractor, (including the John Deere dealership) have mentioned catastrophic hydraulic failures are real. I even don't walk under the front loader when it is raised.

    Stupid Things I Have Done

As long as no people, animals, vehicles or structures were harmed, I count it a win. My most stupid/dangerous thing was trying to pull a metal rod out with the bucket. It was summer and the clay was like concrete. I chained it to the bucket and pulled and pulled. It actually started to lift one...

LS Tractor Won't Start After Hooking Up Bush Hog

To start mine, the tractor has to be out of gear and the PTO switch off. Probably too obvious.

My Stupidity kicked in at full throttle.

Did you try calling the dealer, checking the manual, or searching YouTube? The last two are my go-to. I have a 94 JD. Holding the little button down while pushing them on is very frustrating.

How far is too far for driving tractor on the road?

I would avoid it. Even between me and my dad's place, 2.25 miles, there are gravel trucks and log trucks. So I have the roll bar, of course. And, I keep the seat belt on and tight. Just in case I get rear-ended by a log truck.

    Storing Tractor

I don't have a tractor shed yet. I do have a spot under a breezeway, but it puts the tractor at angle of about 15% (left to right) when parked there. It does keep it out of the rain. But wondering if there is any bad effects of it being parked in an unlevel position.

    Electric pressure washer reviews

I prefer my Honda gas pressure washer. It is a beast and can go forever. Some people don't like to handle gas or worry about gumming up the carburetor, so an electric would be a good option. For my gas pressure washer, I use clear premium and run it dry if I'm not going to use it for a while.
