I tend to use 4wd when plowing snow, getting stuck, trying to avoid slipping on a lawn or any heavy loader work. The sound it makes when driving straight suggests that it is harder on the drivetrain than 2wd.
You bees have been busy. After reading this I decided to go the legal and expensive route and hire an electrician. And he's still here working after starting it what seems to be 3 weeks ago. Hopefully it'll be done tonight or by 4 tomorrow. It's beginning to feel like I'd been better off paying...
My property involved building a home where we lived in which was always intended to become a woodworking shop once the whole project was completed. While we were living there I built a 3 car garage with electricity. Then I built a 3500sf home where I attached it to the garage. The first home...
I'm needing to move my circuit panel in my basement in order to install a basement bathroom. I've always wired my own homes and outbuildings but this was prior to smart meters. In the past I could just pull the meter to cut the power so that I could replace the service entrance cable. Then just...
I don’t understand how cryptocurrency is valuable at all so I never invested in it. I also don’t believe that I could tell if a hunk of gold colored metal is real gold and what value. And I was a stock trader for years.
I’m now wondering of it’s too much weight when I’m not lifting the big logs I frequently carry. Would it make the front end so light that steering or front traction would be compromised. It’s a Kioti ck10 with a cab and loaded rears. It’s lift capacity is significantly better than my Kubota...
The last tractor I purchased the seller said cash only. My bank was incredibly interested in why I was taking out so much cash and was worried that I was getting scammed. They also didn't have $22k and I had to wait 4 days.
I see that I'd probably need to bring my tractor to actually get it home. At least I could check the clearance. I'm seriously considering it. I know that the next bevel gear case seal replacement would make me wish I had.
The huge tragedy is how many people still take their news as gospel. Today more than ever people need to consider multiple sources. I watch one popular "news" source and am stunned by how they either simply didn't cover something or worse editorialized it to become apologists.
I was looking for some ballast and found this on FB marketplace. I believe it’s about 30” wide x 24” tall x 24” deep. They’re claiming 1540 lbs. That seems exaggerated to me.
I almost bought a Vulcan multi purpose welder for around $1k as opposed to the Miller for more than 2x and just couldn’t unsee the reviews where theirs suddenly failed after a year or 2. I’m still using a reeeeeaaaalllly old Forney arc welder that never stops. It’s about as convenient to...
Thanks all. That pic of the tools in the drawer reminds me that I probably need to buy another rolling tool box. My tools have outgrown my 13 drawer cabinet years ago.
