I removed the metal edge and bolted on a 1×6 piece of polyurethane... 1500 feet of gravel driveway.. it skips over the rocks and does not cut in. I wanted a front mount blade, but the back blade was all I could afford right now. I gets the job done.

You might need to run number 1 fuel or mix some with the number 2. I'm not a big fan of additives. It's been below 0 for awhile now here in northern Minnesota. I'm fortunate to have a heated garage to keep my machine in. If I had to keep it out, I would just use straight no.1
