Yes , power assist is transferred at the correct amount to left or right and activated the turn of the steering wheel. They never perfected it , as I read of a lot of failures, but oddly enough… no information out there on a fix, other than reconverting back to manual steering …. or replacing...

Update .... took a turn for the worst .... smoking so bad , tractor is unusable . Crankcase is overfull again.... despite ... no additional oil added ....Google search says , fuel pump could be bad ....pumping gas into engine ....will check that out , and report back ...

What would cause this on a Kohler 7000 series V-twin 26 hp ? ...it's quite bad , saw flames come out of carb , when I pulled off air filer box .

Pulled rear section off , and found it almost immediately .......yes you were correct ... low fuel sensor grommet was brittle , and literally disintegrating ....have a new one on order from PartsTree ....thanks to all responses ....

Had to quit my project today due to a bad gas leak in my 3206. Gas appears to be coming from front of tractor area of tank . Do these plastic tanks chafe in that area ? Right now I have tractor front parked up hill , with gas...

If you already didn't buy a new clutch ....I have one , new in box ...never used OEM clutch.... I had mis-diagnosed my clutch , which turned out to be an electrical problem , and new clutch was never taken out of box . Paid $200 + will part for $100 + shipping ....

Have a Cub Cadet 3208 with Kohler Command engine with 1250 hrs on it .... runs great until today , when it did something that it has never done in my 20 years of ownership .... I'm doing a land scape job of major proportions , and towing a loaded trailer of dirt over and over again.... fill...

My Kohler 7 thousand series choke... ( 1 lever for throttle & choke ) it won't lift choke rod high enough to close choke... it seems like lever linkage at engine is at 6:30.... and should be at 6:25 in order to lift rod to close choke.... so if cable is adjusted to lift choke rod to close choke...
