SSQA to 3pt for the front of the tractor

I picked up a couple of HF quick hitches while in FLA for the month of April. I am going to weld one to my SSQH plate that I use for a trailer mover. I zoomed in on your pictures and it looks like you made "tabs" to weld the QH to your plate. Is there any reason you didn't just weld the QH...

    Loader M59 hood/nose guard

Don't have my BX25 anymore but I made this to prevent spill overs - or at least reduce them. Worked great for brush and snow too. I haven't built one for my B2650 yet but it's on the to-do list.

Rubber Friction Pads for Back Hoe Stabilizers...where to find them?

I made these for my BX25. They helped hold the light tractor in place.

    Landscape rake angled use...how often.

That's it but mine is an older version. I think you are right about the angles. Max angle on mine worked fine for my purposes. I had to dig around but I found a picture. I bought used gauge wheels and adapted them to the Woods mounts.

Removing saplings up to 2" in diameter

I've been dissed a bit in the past for mentioning this but I have a J. Dunn grapple that I bought for exactly this purpose. I use it for pulling alders and evergreen trees up to 3" in dia from the sides of my camp road. Cutting them off with my rotary cutter leaves "spikes". I can pull...

    problems with new kubota bx23s

I found a set of wrenches specifically meant for flare nuts. The flare nut wrenches came from Canadian Tire. The crowfoot wrenches came from Princess Auto. I found that they fit the flare nuts better because they wrap around the nut. The crowfoot wrenches allow you to reach into difficult...

    Backhoe or not

I am 61 and I've had more knee operations than I care to count. I currently am sitting in a beach front condo waiting for spring at home so I can get to back up to my camp and start using my tractor again. :drink: Seriously though it does depend on how much you will use it, how much you can...

Thumb for Subcompact Tractor Backhoe. Need Advice

I'm not sure how the hydraulics are mounted on the LS tractors but on the Kubota BX25 I used to own, the thumb bracket moved and broke off a fitting on the dipperstick hydraulic cylinder. I bought the thumb off of eBay and installed it myself. Fit and function were good, but when I curled the...

    B2650 Mods for extreme conditions

This works well to protect the grill on my 2650.

    Added a tooth bar

My experience with the traditional style of tooth bar and the Piranha tooth bar is similar to vicakc. On my BX25 I had a W.R.Long tooth bar. It was pretty good at uprooting brush without shearing individual trees above ground. It was also pretty good at raking backwards with the bucket...

    B3000/B3030 LED Headlight BUlb ?

I am stuck not being able to get to my camp and my tractor for a while so I can't pull my bulb to compare. But from the brief searching I've done, the 1073 bulb appears to be the same configuration as an automotive 1156 bulb. From Messick's parts site this is the bulb from the 2650 From...

best under armour / skid plates

I had the Bro-Tek skid plates on my BX 25 for 9 years. Never had an issue with them - other than having to remove the rear one to do my 200 and 400 hour service.

    B3000/B3030 LED Headlight BUlb ?

Nice job on the lights. I have LED flood/spot lights on my hard top too but I don't always have it on my tractor. It's too tall to fit through my barn door so it comes off for the winter.

    Aftermarket grill / brush guards

I did the same for my B2650. But now that I see the hitch receiver on the grill, I think I want to add that too. Nice.

bx2380 moving a 24' Haulmark trailerl around with a front skid steer receiver hitch

You should have no problem with the lift capacity on your BX. Go slow and easy. Remember to have rear ballast.
