I welcomed this weeks rain. Here in east cost Canada the hot dry summer reaked havoc. Many lost their water, forest fires roared, homes losts and restrictions from going in the forest were applied.
Perhaps I’ll catch up on my work now.
Power stirring on my L2502 feels underpowered. Even on hard ground power stirring feels very under powered. You have to force the stirring wheel for it to stir the wheels.
Another issue…My seat freezes in the winter so hard that the sensors won’t work. The tractor doesn’t think anybody is on...
I question that myself. With the price of the meat at the grocery store the beef farmer should be making more.
This topic you started was very interesting and had some great responses. I’m just a hobby farm so have nothing valuable to contribute to the conversation other than to say this was...
East coast canada here. 3 days of white outs and places had 209 km winds. Will have to go blow a couple of driveways. It is -21 celcuis. From you favourite part of the 51 state. Yeah come up now trump and see if you still want it. You could freeze to death in 20 minutes but then again there are...
Two storms in the last 5 days so spent about 10 hours blowing snow. It was cold so the snow was fluffy and only 6 inches deep. The little L 2502 is impressive.
Nice. 20 km away they got 2 feet of snow but none here. There were some beautiful skidoo picture posted from the ski doo club here in Cape Breton Nova Scotia Canada/USA maybe.
I have a diesel heater my wife got me for Xmas. When time allows I am going to rig some framing up so I hopefully will have heat. It’s not really required as it doesn’t get much below -10 celcuis when it snows. The defrosting of the window would be nice but there is lots of air flow so the...
That’s a good question. I believe my dealer could of sold me one but they are like $500 for a plastic one. To cheep for them to both with. They usually try to sell you a simms cab which are fairly well built but I believe $5000. Maybe the cab of the 70ies wasn’t a bad thing.
Save $8000 and build your own tractor cab. I built this for about $500.00. I have a new L2502 Kubota. Here in Canada the cab is $8000 so I built my own for $500. It is a very function strong cab if I do say so myself. DIY tractor cab.
Tuff seat time today.
I guess it’s an end of an era. After 35 years our careers are over, our children are on their own and doing well, and the last of our pets namely Effie i buried today with his brothers. I wonder what the next chapter will be.
I came to the conclusion the to be happy...
Thanks. People say they work good. Apparently they hold alot of snow and they roll the snow so it is easier to push. I'm looking at getting one because the bucket fetching up is hard on gear.
I had a trip plow and sold it with my other tractor but I was meaning snow pusher. they don't trip They are like a bucket but have runners. They are more like a box blade but they are on the front of the tractor.
