I haven't posted in such a long time, but figured this would a good time to re-connect. I picked up a set of Kubota B2786 drift cutters for my B2781A 51" front snowblower and just installed them. I'm hoping they help steer more snow into the augers for fewer clean-up runs. Installation was...
Hello TBN-
Can anybody tell me what size dust plugs and caps I need to replace the broken ones on my B-series hydraulic hoses? More specifically the ones that connect to the front snowblower and quick hitch subframe. Thanks much!
Is it just me or is the rubber step mat horrible quality? The nipples that keep it secured to the floor of the tractor have crumbled and now it just kind of lays on there poorly. 60 bucks for a replacement also.
I thought I would give my front snowblower some extra attention today in preparation for the season. The manual doesn't tell you exactly where the zerks are, but I think I hunted them all down successfully. There are 2 zerks on the auger shafts and one on each end with little plastic caps on...
All of the sudden, I'm having great difficult installing the loader on my tractor. I have never had a problem before, and the loader has had very limited, and non-abusive use since I got it ~2008. I pull into the loader until it makes contact with both loader mounts on the tractor. As I am...
Here's an action shot of this morning's seat time. I cleared about 8" out last night and woke up to this. This snow is incredibly heavy and wet and I had to bring up the RPMs, engage the 4wd, and go slower than usual but got the job done.
It's 15 degrees here today. I started my B2620 and it made a strange sound at first but started and ran normally. A few seconds later I see a small amount of antifreeze on the garage floor on both sides of the tractor. I killed the engine, popped the hood and noticed the source of the leak...
There is intense debate about the B vs BX on these forums. As a follow on topic, which of these series is more dependable, needs less repairs, and has fewer design flaws?
I reinstalled my loader today and noticed that the hanger for the hydraulic lines didn't survive the Winter. I followed the manual direction on hanging the hoses on the hook, but this thing is a piece of junk. Having said that, I'd like to get another one. Does anybody know what it's called...
I'm not surprised at what things cost these days, but good quality 48-60" tillers are steep! I thought with the new tractor I could retire the earthquake walk-behind for the food plots. Maybe next year... Or the year after that... :(
I give up. I switched from Power Service to Howe's and it made little difference. There is gelling on the filter element and the fuel I can see in the sediment bowl is cloudy. We're hovering around zero here, and I don't have heat in the barn (yet). This is road diesel. Maybe I got a crappy...
I'm looking for something along the lines of a Rankin ER-25 or Gearmore GR100 single tooth ripper. I like the idea of the adjustable length and shear bolt design. I'm in central NY. I haven't got any responses from the mfr's asking for my nearest dealer. Thanks!
