You are more than welcome. I hope it works for you.

That's correct, this fixes a non-pull in. In my case the hold in circuit was still working fine, it just didn't pull in. If it's the hold in that doesn't work, you'd have to use a toggle switch to the other wire. flip the switch on to run, then flip it off to disengage the hold in.

I don't think pictures would show much, so I did a sketch instead. It's pretty simple. I did run the new wire inside a piece of wiring loom, and ziptied it in place to the existing wiring bundle. There is no need to cut the original wiring, just strip a piece of insulation and solder the new...

Well, the new timing relay didn't fix it. I'm thinking there's some corrosion in a connector or something cutting down the voltage to the solenoid. Without a wiring and connector location diagram, I don't know where the involved connectors are. Recent shoulder surgery prevents me from crawling...

OK, without a wiring diagram, I'll just have to look and find what's the best approach. Thanks for the ideas.

I might try it. would be easy to do, just add a jumper wire once I find the right wire to connect to.

That would be easier, I was not sure if the solenoid could stay energized longer than the original 1 second without overheating.

OK, I found a third relay, doesn't look like a relay, but with better light I found it. It's a timer relay, so might be the one to pulse the pull in circuit Unfortunately, it looks like the part number is not to be found anywhere. So, I'm considering a hack. The hold in circuit works just...

I don't think the new solenoid comes with the 3 connector pigtail with wires. It only has the 3 pin plug on the case. Maybe I could solder some wires on the solenoid contacts and go that way if I have to.

OK, more information. I hooked a jumper up to the contacts on the solenoid, one at a time, grounded the case on the negative terminal of a battery, and touched the jumper to the positive terminal. One contact pulls the plunger in right away, the other contact holds it in after i push it down...

I bought my CK12HST in march of 2007. Been great for all this time. However, it has become hard to start. Turns over just fine, just won't hit. The first few times it happened, I turned off the key and back on and it would fire up. This weekend, while using it for hours, I shut it off to talk...

    Better way to do it?

I have this in the Kioti forum, but haven't received any responses. Thought I'd try it here since it's not specific to any brand of tractor. I dug a trench the other day for the gas company to run a line to my place. Due to obstructions (garage at west end, and fence at east end), I could not...

Backhoe  Backhoe won't come all the way back?

Hey guys, I have a question. I've had my CK25 for a couple of years now, but only have 70 hours on it. I was using it last weekend, and when I was done with the backhoe, I tried to put the lock pin in place. It wouldn't go. Looking it over, the boom wasn't retracted enough for the holes to...

Loose FEL lever on my CK25

After I had my CK25 a couple of hours, the FEL lever came loose. Turns out the locknut at the bottom of the lever backed off. The dealer came right out and tightened it. Been fine. Now I have 47 hours on it, and the lever came loose again. This time it's not the locknut. It doesn't rotate about...

    what's involved in a 50 hr service?

I now have 47 hours on my CK25. I'd like to do the 50 hour service myself, but want to make sure I don't miss something. Does anyone have a checklist of what's required along with the types of fluids and filters to be changed? Would it be worthwhile to buy a service manual to go along with the...
