Well today marked a major milestone!!! I have finished the restoration and I can safely say I'm quite pleased with the results.

Got the wheels primed and started to prep the bonnet as well. Had to weld new metal to where the headlights were because the brackets had rusted through.
Also got new stay chains for the lower arms but don't have a photo yet.
Sorry about the poor lighting....Sprayed the wheels and a few little bits and pieces.
Just have the front wheels and hood left to do. And also buy some new chains for the lower arms for the rear.
Did a little more this weekend
- cleaned and and roughed up the who body ready for painting. Got a little primer on the guards

I haven't been able.to do as.Much as I like due to change of jobs however I did spend a few hours on the following this weekend;

Sprayed the upper half and starting to put it all back together.
Also removed rear wheel so I can fix a puncture. Surprisingly the brake shoes still have life left in them. There is a slight leak though so once I move onto the rear I'll address that.
Quick update.
I used Permatex ultra black gasket maker on the sump and plug and it's holding up and not leaking. That's a bonus!!
Also sprayed the engine with primer ready for top coat
This weeks update;
Decided to drop the engine oil and change oil filter. All went well until I put the sump oil plug back in. Previous owner had stripped the plug [emoji26][emoji26]
Called around many places and unfortunately getting a tap which was 1" is just to cost prohibitive. Currently...
Lately I've been getting some strange readings from the battery with my digital multimeter. Hoping someone can help.
With a fresh battery I get a solid 12'6-12'8 reading when engine is off. When running (no matter what rpm) the reading jumps erratically from 1 - 14.1and everything in between...
