do yourself a favor drive both before deciding and if you are mostly doing FEL work, think about the 5145, no turbo to keep up with and about 5k cheaper for 10hp less. my 5145 was 29k 2 years ago.

are you saying that the 5145/5155 now have electric PTO engagement? the 2022 models did not.

sounds to me from the OP's post that the PTO is rotating and the mower is not (or is but then stops after operating at load) sounds to me like a PTO shaft shear pin or clutch, the PTO shield separating would also be a sign that the shear pin or clutch is out. could also be the PTO engagement...

did you check the shear pin on the mower PTO shaft (if equipped with a shear pin) or the slip clutch on the mower PTO shaft.

51 series is does not have electrical PTO engagement, long mechanical lever activated (one of the reasons i got it)
