Broke my B26TLB rear axle shaft

Haven't been around on TBN because of vacation time. But checked with dealer this week when we got back and they are still waiting on the shaft from Kubota. Dang, Messick's had it in stock when it happened but I assume my dealer can't buy it from Messick's. Don't need it right now. Thanks...

    Restarting My '70 Nova Project

Sounds like you might be able to build another one from the left over parts. I never was a car nut, but always appreciated the work done on them. And yours is great. I also had a 73 Olds Omega as my first car. Bright factory yellow hatch back. Jon

Guess I'm a Sawyer now? A 1991 Kasco "The Saw IIA" Sawmill is mine!

I just used cheap hour meter that wrapped a pickup wire around spark plug wire. All relative. Will have to look for pictures. Jon

Guess I'm a Sawyer now? A 1991 Kasco "The Saw IIA" Sawmill is mine!

Deezler, I bought a Timbery swmill a few years ago. Nephew gave me a bunch of white and red pine logs, in ranch of 20" diameter. I sawed those up, stickered them in 40" wide bunks. About 7 layers is what my B26TLB would handle. My flat bed trailer has a 84" deck, removable sides. I stacked...

    Just Little Bites ...

What capacity are those water tanks? And are they both full? Most we can carry on our BX2230 3pt mounted forks is about 50 gals in a 275 gal tank. Jon

    Natural gas?

With natural gas you usually don't have to worry running low like you do with propane. With propane you need to worry about running low and scheduling deliveries. We had to run the propane generator for 16 days during our recent ice storm this spring. And yes they had to bring more out. I...

Broke my B26TLB rear axle shaft

We have been with the same local agent and home owners insurances for years. At the last house and then this one. Bought the backhoe in early 2018 usedfrom same dealer, and added it to our policy early this year. Saw that shaft listed at Meesicks and used that part number to guide the service...

Broke my B26TLB rear axle shaft

Years ago my son in Steamboat needed to borrow our 2005 Camry. He hd a friend needing a way back from Michigan. I had a local oil change place change oil. Guy took it out, all ok. After a while son was driving out there, left to go to work on morning. Got about 3 house down the street, car...

    Another barn build

I ran my gutters through a different pipe in the ground than my perimeter drain which was lower because of a partial inground basement. Didn't want any chance gutters would back flow into the perimeter. Also ran the gutters further down the slight slope we have. Jon

Broke my B26TLB rear axle shaft

Really there was no extra load on the rear axle. Should have been a bit less then normal because of the full bucket of dirt cantilevering the rear. Yes tires are loaded. Axle shafts are about 9" from outer bearing to hub. This is because of full frame going to the rear for the backhoe. And...

Broke my B26TLB rear axle shaft

Sunday was not a good day for me. Was supposed to be an easy day, haul some dirt back to a clearing to level a spot for a deer blind. On about the 3rd trip back, and just into the clearing, thump, and right rear corner droped down to the ground. Wheel was on an axle, and no the lug nuts did...
