@EddieWalker The cost of the mowing has just been shifted to someone else. But if you consider the time savings you get if someone else mows it, then yes you now can do work for someone else. Jon
Summer is short enough this year with Labor Day being early and you guys are making it colder in northern Michigan with types barely in the 60's as I type. HaHa Jon
I have used the forks to haul small brush to the burn pile before I bought my grapple. Also setup a box for 2 trash cans to keep them from tipping while using the forks to take them to the road for pickup. Jon
I have a BX2230 and a B26TLB. Both fit my needs. I have thought about replacing them with a LX26___. Don't realy want to deal with Def, etc. But don't really want a backhoe on a subframe/4pt.
So I don't spend my money. Jon
I have a BX2230. It has a set of eyelets right below the rear tire fenders. Unpin the vertical arms from the lift arms and move them to the eyelets. My 3pt arms arm stationary as they are moving with a (rear implement)(oops). Jon
Should have typed: 3pt arms are stationary while the mid...
We built our house in 2018. I build all the cabinets out of wood. AB plywood for the cabinets, pine tongue and groove for the faces, doors and exposed side panels. I hate painted cabinets. People want them in their house fine, but not in mine. Jon
Another second layer that I did on my roofs was to run ice and water shield all the way up to the peak. My roof was shingle because of weak cell phone signals arounf here. Metal roofs and siding effect the signl. Jon
Our laminate has glued on rolled edges to soften the corners. Back sides have flat glued on laminate. (Because we haven't done backsplashes yet and I wanted the back sides sealed.) These countertops were purchased through the local builder and their local contractor/supplier.
On the non...
Glad you got the family bible. Sorry for all that happened before you actually have it in your possession. Remind us, do you want the bible open in this wood case? Then a certain page could be viewed without opening the box. Maybe if passages had a meaning for the time/day. You change...
I would also think about repointing the chisels earlier than later. Don't let them get so flattened off before repointing. Yes it would be more often, but not as long at the grinder each time. Jon
Does the pond have an outlet to a creek or stream? That's where problems could arise from others. Seeing cloudy water coming their way. No solutions here at dad's ponds other than permits, etc. Jon
HD, I have also weed wacked along pond and creek banks. No fun. The trimmer is always below the normal level of yard trimming (or your feet). So you need to bend over more while standing on the banks. Jon
I have also sailed Hobie Cats from both salt water and fresh water. The lakes were always clean, so no problem there. But the oceans were also clean but had salt. Everything had to be washed down after sailing to get the residue off. Also I did't like the feel of the sheets when they were...
