    mixing turf and farm tires

Try swapping your front wheels so the front R1 tires are running backwards, it may help you on turns and you should still have front traction for the hills.

    Modern tractor to replace mf135

Having grown up on and alot of time on a 135 (with the Continental Z145 gas engine, multipower transmission) as a kid and adult, I now have a Mahindra 2638. The Mahindra 2638 will do everything the 135 will do with more traction, a more comfortable seat, eaiser to get on and off, equal to less...

    Milwaukee Battery Top Handle chainsaw

My cousin thought the same thing, but yesterday when we were doing a job taking down 3 large sweetgum trees I had that little saw next to me at the chipper (vermeer 7' capability) and he was impressed. He has a 7'x16' gooseneck dump trailer and we filled it three times with chips, that little...

    Milwaukee Battery Top Handle chainsaw

I ride horses with several people who have the 12V Milwaukee Hatchet (6" chainsaw) and I recently purchased one too. Absolutely love it. I get slabs from a local sawmill for firewood and use that little saw in my shop to cut slabwood to length for my wood burner. Beyond that I carry it on my...

Talk Me In/Out of the Stihl MS261

I"ve had a 261 for about 12 years now, love it and found it is awesome in any wood with an 18" 3/8 pitch full chisel chain. I cut alot of locust and it does great. My first saw was an 029 Super, which was a great matchup with an old 024 that I had. Later had a 361 and I just found it too heavy...

MF 135 Runs beautifully for 30 to 45 minutes

When it sputters and dies have you tried pulling out the choke to see if it runs differently? When it starts sputtering and running rough take a can of something aerosol that is flammable (carb cleaner works well) and spray around the intake manifold. If there is a crack in the manifold it...

    New Impact Wrench

Your impact will be fine, it will be great on farm equipment, tractors and trucks. If I was starting over buying power tools I would go with Milwaukee Tools over DeWalt but I have alot of DeWalt 18V and 20V tools so I'll just stick with them. That exact impact you have is the one on my radar...

Removing high tensile fence wire to re-use?

^^THIS^^ I've put up hundreds of miles of high tensile wire and I don't recommend messing with high tensile wire without a spinning jenny or a well made home fabbed version. Taking it down it easy, just wind it back onto the jenny. I use a plastic ring that drops over mine and then wind it...

    Anyone reload 12ga anymore

For target loads the math on cost does not make it econimcal. When I got into shotgun reloading 17 years ago I was shooting a 28 gauge some and then loads i was making were higher performance loads for the hunting I was doing, and it was economical for that even with a 12 and 20 gauge. This...

    Bout to purchase a 2638

I've had mine for 3 years and I have about 600 hours on it. I don't find the range selector lever to be problematic or in the wrong place. The three point lever could be more ergonomically accessible but it isn't a deal breaker. On facebook we have a Mahindra 2638 owners page that we have a...

    Tank level for gravity feed

Crack the line loose on the outlet side of the whole thing. Only other thing I can think of is the fuel shutoff on the bottom of the tank might be clogged.
