Moving from 1/2 ton truck to HD truck

I was in the same position but needing a bit more load handling....why buy a pickup? I bought an International 9200 single axle semi with 150k miles on it with the big Cummins and a Eaton 10spd for $18k. Pulls better then any new HD truck your gonna buy and at 1/4 of the cost.

    LS MT225 Synchro vs HST

Think its well covered but the whine....normal. Different pitch or volume maybe between brands/models - but they all whine. My Kubota whined just as loud and as annoying as my LS. The Deere is actually LOUDER then my LS. In a tractor this size, HST.....I see no real disadvantage over gear...

Pricing ?? on BH for MT225HE

I gave 22.5K for mine with a BH. Great "little" tractor. BH is very useful and we still use it some, but as I picked up a 5 ton mini excavator recently it does get used less. Still very capable. Its a great "do anything" package.

    Filling Tires

If the BH is left on, no need for tire fill - pointless. Instead of spending money on filling the tires, IF you dont already have one - buy a box blade. Almost anyone can find a use for one and it can also function as rear ballast. My grandpa hangs his tiller off the back for the same reason.

    Price Check Mt573 selling question

I bought a 2020 MT573CPS from a dealer last fall with 103hrs on it. Came with 3rd function hydraulics on loader and buddy seat. I paid $42k. As it was still "new" and bought from a dealer I get full warranty. It was there "demo" tractor. Id imagine that warranty is somewhat valuable. Any...

LS Cab tractor buddy seat on ebay

I got lucky and my dealer had one in stock when I bought my tractor. Its a bit different then that eBay one thought, its cloth and matches the factory seat. I think I gave $350 or so for it. They are VERY nice seats.

    Vintage *play* tractor advice

I love old things.....on a nice day taking my 1971 Chevy to town makes my day. Ive driven it on 5K mile trips and had a blast. I love tractors Maybe Id love an old tractor. Currently I have all new stuff, tractors, excavator, skid loaders etc. I *THINK* I want an older tractor to play...

    Ls first time owner

Been here awhile as I own Kubota, John Deere and New Holland. This is my first Ls. Was looking for a 50ish HP cabbed tractor. Look at TYM, Kiota, New Holland, Kubota. I quickly ruled out Kabota on cost. New Holland is just a rebadged Ls anyways. TYM was decent. Looked at Kiota but noticed...

    Mobile Fueling Station.

I put mine on a used second hand Harbor Freight trailer frame - so I can tow it around as needed, move it around in the garage etc. Split setup, 75 gal diesel, 75 gal unleaded.

    Better way to gas up?

They have gasoline rated tanks and gasoline rated pumps, just rig you up a fuel transfer tank for unleaded. I did a half/half setup on a small trailer - works well.

    Fuel Skid "Dolly"?

My setup is WAY smaller in capacity and the trailer is far to weak to support what you want.....but more frame, stronger axles.....you could accomplish the same end result. Its VERY handy. That tank is 150 gallons overall....tows easy with even a 12hp lawn mower.

    Diesel Fuel Transfer Pump Battery

I *JUST* built something similar. I put mine on a trailer. That way I can pull it the 1 mile down to Farm Service to fill it with my tractor or side by side. With the wheeled jack, even full it pushes around super easy in the garage. 75 gallons diesel, 75 gallons gasoline. I put a battery...

GIve me some ideas....need a basic small tractor for 3 pt work

Looked at a few tractors over the last couple days. Had to bump my budget up....figured I could spend $5k and get alot more tractor....so thats my stopping point. Looked at a Montana 2740 - FAR bigger then my little BX Kubota and I liked that, didnt like the potential lack of parts/support...

Fair price on a Kubota L2600?

Looking at this tomorrow. What Im wanting it for - strictly 3pt work. I have a BX24 that I use the FEL and BH often, just want something with a bit more grunt/weight to run implements and this way I dont have to take my BH off my BX. Just basic stuff, box blade, post hole digger....nothing...

GIve me some ideas....need a basic small tractor for 3 pt work

I have a Kubota with a FEL and backhoe. I use it constantly. So constant in fact that Im often wishing (not needing) I had a second tractor. IE, I could use the box blade but Im also using the backhoe - rather then constantly swapping, should I grab a second basic tractor for drag work/PTO...
