2 post or 4 post vehicle lift ideas

I'll chime in as well - went through this same dilemma when adding one to my shop. It depends on what you want it for and what your situation is. I am almost always working by myself. I mainly use the lift for routine maintenance and smaller repairs (exhaust, brakes, wheel bearings, etc) In...

Parts supplier for a toolcat - AGA Truck parts?

I need a speed sensor for my early gen toolcat. There are backordered from Bobcat and AGA Truck parts claim they can one in about a month. Has anyone dealt with them before?

Blowing fuse 2 sw power on toolcat 5600

I just fixed this on my machine - check the resistance of the solenoids to find which one is shorted to ground. You should be able to just turn off all wheel steer instead of unplugging the switch.

    Troubleshoot a 7 pin snowblower

Long story short (after switching attachments on different machines, etc) turns out the attachment side 7pin had a loose connection. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

    Troubleshoot a 7 pin snowblower

I'm not an expert but here is what I know about the 7 pin: Yes, the 7 pin setup operates off of a CAN bus system (and is one of the reasons bobcat attachments are so expensive, b/c you need a controller to interpret the CAN bus signals vs something like a 14 pin connector that just fires 12v)...

    Troubleshoot a 7 pin snowblower

Can you post up a picture of it? I was using voltmeter to see if 12v was getting there it was, now it isn't. I think harness, wire or controller on attachment.

    Troubleshoot a 7 pin snowblower

Thanks, it's both the rotate AND the chute height adjustment that doesn't work. But the auger engagement does work.

    Troubleshoot a 7 pin snowblower

Appreciate it, all pins looked good - cleaned with electrical cleaner as well. I'll get some photos up the next time I go over there to help.

    Troubleshoot a 7 pin snowblower

A friend of mine has a '18 toolcat with an older 72" SB200 snowblower on it. When it's hooked up, auger works but chute won't rotate nor will the hydraulic cylinder operate. I began by checking for 12v at the machine 7pin, which there was. The bobcat CAN bus will send a signal to the control...

50-56 found bad solenoid, how do I remove it?

Also - FWIW, on the toolcat the block is mounted upside down so you can't really see the nut/shaft which made this a bit harder to figure out!

50-56 found bad solenoid, how do I remove it?

Thank you - I removed the other solenoid to see how it was put together. Then I realized it was an aluminum nut. In short, I figured the nut must have been damaged or stripped. I pried on the solenoid and was able to get the nut off. Verified threads are good on the stud by using other nut...

50-56 found bad solenoid, how do I remove it?

Friends, Had a 50-56 error which lead me to finding a solution here - a solenoid on the steering and cargo box block is bad (almost shorting to zero) causing a fuse to blow, causing the error. My question is, how do you remove the solenoid? The nut is loose but it just spins. The top (or...
