Hi, my name is Stacy Stark and I live in Kentucky, the most beautiful state in the Union in my opinion. I have a small hobby farm, and raise chickens along with rescue cats and dogs, of which there is no shortage around here.. I stumbled upon Tractor-By-Net years ago and have been reading it ever since; somehow it lands in my email at least once a week. I'm always looking for easy ways to maintain my land, which is a bit hilly. The land itself is not great for crops; mostly clay and lots of rocks, which over the years I have tried to pick out. I've never had a tractor - just garden and zero-turn for cutting grass. I've got a Cub Cadet ZFFX54 inch deck and a JD Z535M with a 48 inch deck. My friend and neighbor has been helping me out the past few years, as he has a compact tractor and 6 foot finish mower that he kept when he sold his farm and moved into town. He mows the 3 and 5 acre fields for me which sure saves me a lot of time and effort! We worked out a deal where he keeps his tractor in my barn during the season then brings it home for the winter. We agreed on a price for his work. He is really excellent with the job he does - having farmed crops and cattle for man years before he retired over 25 years ago. I am lucky to have him as a friend and neighbor.

G'day Stacy and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Enjoy the site.
Thanks for the welcome. I also take care of a farm belonging to a friend of mine from Texas, who has a JD 5510. It's a nice tractor, doesn't have a bucket but I mostly used it for mowing with a 10 foot mower. It's been too many years now, and I'm not able to climb up on it anymore, so my neighbor friend is going to mow for me starting this year. The tractor was bought new in 2001. I have been taking care of it since 2010 when the owner of the farm (my good friend) passed.
I do have some questions about Mahindra - specifically the C-27. Do you know anything about this tractor? I only know it's made in India.

I recommend posting about the Mahindra in a new thread in the Mahindra section, I think you'll get more views and therefore more responses there.
