55-60 HP CHOICES

Interesting how getting the delivery to cover costs. Makes sense if they know to keep bales at a certain weight that you can manage
My experience is that a similar sized Deere or Case will outperform the Kubota for hydraulic capacity.

On the smaller tractors anyway. I had to raise the pressure on both my Kubotas l, as approved by Kubota, to get them to lift. But I couldn't do anything with my m7060 to get it to lift my current bales, where the Deere can.
How heavy are the bales you are moving? Local large squares sold up here are generally from about 1150 lb. up to maybe 1500lb. for alfalfa. Most round bales locally being sold are under 600-1K lb. I do know other areas and growers do bale larger and heavier versions of both.

The farmer said 1700-1800 pounds, round bales. But I've lifted that size before with ease. I haven't gotten a chance to weigh them yet as I have to load them, tie, and drive down to the scale. My guess is 2200.

Must have been a SCUT. I think any CUT TYM makes will lift a ton to 8ft or higher.

Mine will lift 2700 to 9 ft at the pins. Lifting a bale 5' or so off a trailer is nothing.

My tractor was a Kubota M7060. It can lift 2700 at the pins as well. And it can lift 5' bales off a trailer easily as well, except these ones. I have moved many bakes with ease. But these 5x6 bales are extra heavy this year. And having high weight several feet past the pins puts that much more weight via fulcrum at the pins, greatly reducing lifting abilities.
I had to curl the bucket and push the boom down at the same time. This allowed me to lean the bale back to remove the counterweight over the front of the bale spears this helped me lift the bales, but it wasn't easy lifting even with that.

Did you check the moisture? Sounds like maybe the bales were wet.

On the 3 x 4 x 8 squares much of the weight is quite a ways out from the pins even if using QA fork bale spear set up. I am not sure which model but this was just before TYM bought Branson and also his standard height semi flat bed is 5' so right at 11 feet to the top of the two high bales, three high would be 14 feet. I did ask what the seller was using to load the trailer and it was a JD 5075E with JD's optional higher spec FEL. Maybe it was a SCUT?

I had an mx5100 and I could unload a low deck trailer stacked two high. Large round bales. But they were probably closer to 1500 lbs. And it was sketchy. Which is why I upgraded to the m7060. And served me well until this years hay. Bakes are dry, but large and tightly wrapped. Last year's were pretty heavy as well, I could lift them but when the twine froze to the ground it was a struggle. The Deere definitely outperforms the Kubota. But I hear the quickie loader /Kubota M32 loader is similar in specs . But I don't believe the Kubota has the hydraulic capacity to match the Deere. I tested this Deere by lifting these heavy bales to fill height and would be confident unloading a semi trailer of them. As long as I have extra ballast in the year and quden the stance.
