@Fuddy - Thank you for introducing me to a new word. Upon looking scrying up, I found that one form of it, (from Google's AI response):
Hydromancy (Water):
Staring into a bowl of water, sometimes with herbs or moonlight, to see patterns or image.
relates to some images in a video for the song The Killing Moon by Echo & the Bunnymen. Rather obscure, and I don't know if that was intended, but it sure fits. If you watch the video and have read the lyrics, the scene with a crescent moon reflected in a bowl of water - the concept of scrying fits perfectly with the song. This has helped me unpack the video a bit. That song is one of my favorites, and is not violent or rude.

Edited to add- The Killing Moon relates to Nick Drake's Pink Moon.
I know this is esoteric and not everyone's cup of tea music-wise, but it does help reveal my age!

Wow! My dad passed at 77. I'm 65.

Got 9½ years to go to reach that point. AFAIK, if I do reach that age I will be the longest-living male on either side of the family. Not that they died young...average age was mid-ish 70s on mother's side, early-mid 80s on father's. Father was 84½.
Women were more of a mixed bag...some living to well over 90, others only 50s.

Guess I'm living on borrowed time. Mom died at 53, Dad at 68, younger brother at 67. Fathers parents died before 72. Mothers parents lived till their early 80's. All my aunts and uncles are gone. I'm 73 and happy my feet hit the floor every morning.
